Swapping to PC from PS4

My question is, when i buy the game for PC, do i just log in with my SE acct where you usually do on the PS4? or do I have to do some type of transfer thing like Ps3 to PS4 did? Or is it just download, install, run, log in, and play?

I'll be getting my PC here before long and am wondering about this. I know for a fact I will have to buy the game again on PC but not sure of the requirements of having always played it on PS4 and transferring to PC.

Once you buy your copy for PC, you need to register on the Mog Station as a PC player (forget the exact process but its not too hard and I believe they have a quick guide on the lodestone). Just make sure to write down or copy your gamekey somewhere for the first time you log in on the PC. If you buy a hard copy it will be with the packaging, if you get it through Steam or something, they will provide you the gamekey.

Enjoy being part of the master race. PC is much better than PS4 IMO, just because most UI elements were designed with the ability to point and click in mind.

Ah ok that simple eh? :D Excellent! And yeah I so can't wait! It's gonna take some getting used to playing on M+KB and healing especially xD i see some wipes in my future of PC gaming lol.

If I could be bothered to sort out my PC I'd definitely buy the pc version getting so fed up of being reliant on the dodgy PSN.

Yeah PSN is really bad ;< hence why i am choosing to get a PC and cancel my PS plus sub ;< But back at Christmas is what drew the line for me. the whole DDoS thing took away SOOOOOO much of my raid time ;-;

PS4, This is the only game I play online with it, so I never subscribed to the PS plus, actually only have 3 games for it.

I pretty much only use my PS4 for FF14 too. It's so damn annoying when PSN impedes my playing time. Xmas was a nightmare. Especially as it only connects through PSN because of a dumb sony policy.

Yep. Which if I have a PC I wont have any worries ^_^ hehe, and nice Eye. My GF had gotten my PS4 for my late B-day preset last year and FFXIV with Kill Zone, didnt like Kill zone so traded it in and my 2DS got a vita and used my Vita for the longest to run Syrcus Tower on when i would go as a warrior xD

I hope anyone doesn't mind me asking, but I'm having thoughts about getting the game for my PC (as I have it on my PS4 as well). Is it possible to play the game on one platform or the other?

Yes, provided you buy both versions of the game and link them both to the same account, you can alternate as often as you want playing on one platform at times and the other platform other times with the same character(s).

There are a few settings (UI layout, hotbars, gear sets, and macros) that are stored locally, though, and wouldn't transfer over. Those you have to set up separately on each platform you play on, and keep them up to date on each when you want to make changes. (The main reason I haven't added the PC version to my subscription is that I don't want to deal with that hassle, as I update gear sets fairly often. For some people, it's worth it, though.)
