Can we have an option to take off the hoods of cowls/hooded robes?

I'd like to see my characters face every once in awhile. The hood sure covers a lot lol. Keeping the Head slot unusable of course.

I was JUST thinking about this. Weird. I made myself a cowl, and it would indeed be pretty nice if I could put the hood down.

This would most likely require new models, so I wouldn't hold your breath, but +1 for this.

They did this in EQ2 but it ended up looking stupid because even with the hood up you still had a hood hanging down your back too.

I'm pretty sure i've read somewhere that the devs were looking into doing this, since it's been requested ever since the game first came out. There's already models in-game for having helmet visors down while they are only available to players in the up position, so a similar mechanic would be nice for cowls. Hell, I'd actually like wearing them if I didn't need to wear the hood =P

ive always wanted this too. but its not really necessary for the amount of work involved atm so i kinda forgot about.

hmm im not really sure about hiding the hoods but i have another pet peeve involveing them.
Please show at least part of our hair when we wear them, i avoid hoods cause they kinda make me look bald underneath

I would definitely welcome an addition like this! I personally dislike wearing hoods at all (Ezio being the exception here) and I am much more keen to hood-down styles.

I have no idea how difficult something like this would be to become reality. If it was a choice between this and fifteen new equip models, I'll probably just opt for new equips! Unless they start talking about porting this idea to helmets and visors.. mmmm

Something like; you're running around with your visor up, when around the corner.. "Oh no, a giant frog wants to tongue slap my face and mouth!" Enter active mode> reach for weapons> sharp head nod animation and visor falls. How sexy would that be! (prolly unrealistic suggestion, just having some fun :p )

Putting the hood down as an option similar to hiding helms for people wearing cloaks is a great idea. It's obviously a little harder since they'd have to have two slightly different models for it, but it would look great and add more to diversity in looks.

I'd settle for just being able to hide this hideous mask on my seer's cowl though.

I agree with having the hoods down... although I also agree I know it would be hard probably. i also would at least do with having some bangs or hair showing... it's one of the reason's I get bored with the cowls...... I make them, put them on, and then decide I'd rather see my hair.... ^ ^ ... (I'm picky so I like to look good while I kill things ^ ^ and with a cowl I just don't feel as pretty)
