We waited 15 minutes for this?

Not that this has any bearing on anything, just a short story. So doing my daily DF adventurer in need bonus. I get into Ifrit, didn't even know low level primals came up in the low level DF.

I remember doing Ifrit in the story mode haven't seen him since then. But man 4 people way over geared for it. Thing was dead in mere minutes,I think the healer killed the add. As everyone was leaving I just see the comment, " I waited 15 minutes for this?" I started laughing, but I know its not funny, poor guy was waiting for a dungeon and got that. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. Now Lets go Patriots!!!!!

Ifrit IS the easiest primal in the game for a reason.

I'm actually okay when Ifrit pops up on DF. Daily bonus for a couple minutes' work? I'll take that any time.

Ifrit in the LLR only benefits the high level players a lot. There is much more in the way of experience points to be gained for a low level player in a dungeon, especially while rested, and not to mention loot. But if they need it for story progression I suppose that's not too bad.

It was the quickest easiest 60 soldiery an 5 poetics I ever made.

Ifrit is on the Low Level DF to assist with new players filling the party for the instance, so that they can progress story. I'd imagine that for the same reason the story mode battles for Titan and Garuda are also in Low Level DF (I've just never rolled them).

Only issue I have with Ifrit popping up in DF is when I need EXP. Otherwise it's so easy I almost feel guilty taking the roulette bonus.

Although i didn't say these exact words, I may have said something similar at least once. And there really was a time when a white mage killed Ifrit but that was because the tank and the other dps died. If you think about it, getting Ifrit or any other primal for duty roulette is pretty bad for leveling. Sure, you get a bonus, but there is only one mob. In contrast Shatsasha or Haukke Manor might give you two levels for a full run. I don't like fighting Ifrit either.

Great when you are looking for the soldiery bonus straight in and out in a few minutes. When you want EXP with your Roulette EXP bonus for leveling getting Ifrit is the most frustrating thing in the world.

I got this yesterday... It was a headache! The tank would not keep her out of the middle. The DD ignored plumes even after I tried to tell them. And don't get me started on the burning down Sup/Chi...

After wipe 3 I treated it like Ramuh Ex where I called each phase in all caps...

I use to Fail Garuda story while leveling WHM. Its still a very hard fight to this date. With limited mana and lower hp and brain dead tanks and DPFs is a nightmare. I feel Garuda HM is easier....well without light farmers that is. lol

better than the eternal tam-tara runs @_@

Everytime I get into this, I have everyone say GREAT and THANK for the fast bonus.
If I want exp, then I can queue again to my desired LV dungeon, also no need to worry fail to complete and no bonus. ^^;

I think it is a lot harder than HM due to lv-sync...
low-level roulette got this and I was really surprised when I OOM... ^^;

You Will earn your TOMES if you get Garuda or Titan low level Roulette.

Ps: I stated on another post that "I wouldnt be able to clear Shiva EX using DF. I was wrong....I find it eaiser to clear it using DF instead of PF. "Eating my own Words"

It is a true statement. Healed Shiva EX via DF this morning. Almost pain-free, and no new achievement earners at the end of the fight. Of course we are days away from getting the new tomes bonus message, so I expect the PF situation to change.

I love getting Ifrit on low level roulette, and I only run low level for exp. It's mostly just that I'm not so much into leveling a ton of combat classes, so getting a nice big chunk of exp quickly is great. I'll just switch back to my main sooner than anticipated, though with a bit less exp than if I got a dungeon.

Also, Ifrit is insanely easy. I recall failing it once or twice while leveling up originally. Really not sure how that could happen unless there were people just not bothering to hit the nails. Last time I ran it on my main (MNK) I ended up tanking him somehow, and it worked out just fine. No idea how I held hate against a tank though given that MNK does pathetic damage when facing the target...

When Ifrit story mode comes up and you see someone in a 2 min cutscene, there's bound to be plenty of fun and laughter. Like the time he chased the tank in circles while the healer and I DPS'd the nail, and the had to go to cleric stance to make up for the fact the other DPS didn't read party chat or pay attention to the 1 sign over the nail. And it is nice to find at the end I've gained a level on my DPS in 5 minutes vs slogging through Toto-Rak yet again, especially if I wait until close to the morning reset.

I low-level rouletted in progress as i100 Paladin a couple days ago. Got in to Ifrit normal, only person there is a single Rogue (lv20, lv13 weapon) and naturally was like "what the hell?" He said that when he zoned in he was the only one there (I hate when that happens to me). Anyways, we waited another minute and a Scholar pops in (level capped, didn't check gear). We waited another couple minutes for a 2nd DPS before we decided to just try with 3. Just barely killed nail in time, but we got the job done.

it doesnt count for your challenge log random dungeon which kind of sucks if you wait in que for awhile

Things I've met first on low roulette is Titan (Using WAR), with all first time entry... Horribly bungee jumping and eating plumes that makes me remember my first story on titan quest lol

The only time Ifrit or any other story primal pops for me in LLR is when I'm at 2/3 on my challenge log for roulette dungeons or 4/5 for total dungeons and I'm on a job that needs exp.
