Yugiri's face?

So do you think they will finally reveal Yugiri's face in 2.5 considering 2.5 Part 1 and Part 2 is the conclusion to 2.X storyline or we will have to wait for the revealing in 3.0 storyline?

Dunno, they already showed the Au Ra anyway, so it's not like what's under the mask is going to surprise us...

It mostly the reaction the characters will have towards her being a Au Ra I'm waiting for.

We players may know their appearance but people of Eorzea currently do not know about Au Ra being Dragon People race which would push a lot of possible issue between the Scions and Ishgard due to Ishgard's Anti-Dragon Mentality. Mostly due to their religion teaching Ishgard Citizens that all Dragons are evil and must be purged from the world.

The discovery of Yugiri and the Au Ra being a Dragon People race can bring about some interesting conflicts since the citizen of Ishgard have spent their lives believing anything being a Dragon or related to one in anyway or befriending a Dragon is heresy or a abomination in the World. This can also lead to events that may change Ishgard's culture and beliefs as well which can also serve to be the lore that allows outsiders to enter Ishgard.

I hope it's a surprise it just seems odd to hide her face given how she does look, they could of just hidden their ears not the whole face completely since given what we's seen so far, their face doesn't really bring a sense of fear. IN a way it's counter-productive it's not like she hid her tail and that was different from any other race so hiding her face seems pointless unless something happened in which she is forced to hide her face.

My guess her face could be more draconic compared to what others can be like he crossed to close to the line of the dragon and her face was corrupted through the power since if one saw a dragon face walking the street I could understand them being afraid but given the faces shown there is nothing for them to be afraid of and mask wise they could of easily just made the ears hidden lol.

I know it's a bit nit-picky, but was it confirmed that they're dragon-related?
I mean sure, they're clearly lizard-based/looking, but them being related to dragons would cause some serious problems once the doors to Ishgard open up during Heavensward...unless something happens over there during "Before the Fall" that makes them seriously change their minds.

the word used to describe the au ra was "Draconic" which means dragon or dragon like, thats why everyone refers to them as dragon people is due to this specific descriptive word they used

You mean "draconic", right? It means of, or relating to the dragon.

Considering that Shiva laid with a Dragon, it would be interesting if the Au Ra are the resultant offspring, and thus descendants.

their relation to Shiva really depends on
1. if they are infact part dragon and not some other lizard type
2. what dragon species Shiva lay with and if they infact did have offspring. because it has been made very clear the Au'Ra are of no relation to the Dravanian horde.

I think it all comes down to how they are presented. Yugiri is fully aware that a reveal HAS to be done, since she surely isn't the only one of the Au Ra now occupying Mor Dhona with the other Domans. Who knows, maybe the Garleans equated them with Beast Tribes rather than equal to the Hyurans that lived in Doma, and is smart enough to know she's best to be cautious despite her leadership role among the refugees.

It'll be interesting to see, as Yugiri plays a role in the events of Shiva's defeat, and now quite a handful of powerful Ishgard nobles are supporting the growth of their supplement. Will they change their tune when they see the Au Ra living their? Or will Haurchefant's love for the Warrior of Light conquer his homeland's racism?
