Such disrespect in a 5v1. They care more about emoting than actual PvP.

lol in a 1vs1 if you get beat and taunted why not, but at 5vs1 it's obvious you can't do nothing than die , there no proud to have beat someone at 5vs1... and then should not joking about you
Maybe that's him trying to get you to focus on him in the next encounter instead of their healers.
/devil'sadvocate.
I see anyone taunting on my team they get no heals. What are they five? Sadly I have noticed that some premades are the worst offenders.
That's actually pretty childish of you not to be doing your job to help win the game. Them taunting hurts no one (except of course the person being taunted and only if that person lets it hurt them). You not healing, however, completely affects your team in a negative way. And I'd probably votekick you for not doing your job. Abuse of the vote kick? Ehh you're harassing the team, it's valid
Taunting is a legit part of play. It may not have phased Mr. 5 year war vet here, but perhaps a lesser player would be angered because they'd think "oh it was a 5v1 it wasn't fair I'll show him next time" causing them to tunnel vision and not focus on the healers.
For people being taunted, just ignore it and return. For people on the taunting side, there is no shame in it. It might just squeeze out a few more points for your alliance if you get a hot-headed player.
Meh, if we were to play that way, I'd vote kick every person that ran away from a fight for "not doing their job". If you don't earn the respect of your healers, you aren't getting any heals! All of course dependent on the player.
This is so true. Ive lost count of how many times I've taunted opposing players with a /laugh emote and popping champagne after I kill them to have them come back in the next encounter and completely ignore my healers and focus on me aggressively hardcore. Its amusing cause I will completely ignore these people, let them continue attacking me, while I continue assaulting their healers all the while my own healers are keeping me up more easily cause they have less ppl harrassing them lol. And once I do kill their healers you can bet I'll turn to the dps that have been futily attacking me the whole time, kill them since they no longer have any more heal support, and then laugh at them again.
You're supposed to retreat from a losing fight >.>
I've been in countless winning fights where I'd kill off the last few dps (or a tank, it's always at least a tank) that stick around for some reason even if all their healers die. I mean it's just feeding my team kill points, and increasing their respawn timer. If you're healers are eating it, retreat and regroup, 3-4 remaining dps ain't going to do shit against the opposing team, and even if they do kill a healer they can just raise up as if nothing happened, netting you maybe 3 points but costing you another 12 kill points. And not only that, you start staggering your respawns, so the healer that we killed is running back to save the dps ass, right as the dps dies, and then everyone else trickles in and gets killed one by one.
Tactical retreats are how the good players go like 8+ kills with maybe 1 death a match.
the taunt can work very well on hot blood players, it's useless on some players but not all^^
This is the only "real" taunt skill we have in game that can be used by anyone.
Not until se actually gives a taunt skill, this will have to do. :p
Worked wonders in WD, FL idk, kinda hard to distuingish a certain dps unless they r wearing super obscure glamour or are dyed a certain colour scheme that says
" hey its me !"
As a healer you should appreciate one of the most effective strats in any pvp. Just in the last week i've had 4 DRGs 2 blms(yes caster lb on me solo) 1 nin instead of the healer. I always have blms and smns swap to me instead of you because I make the rage so bad, ive even had healers see red and try to damage me instead of healing just because I danced on them.
Ah yes.... the teabag. That is an age ole PvP strategy adopted by PvP MMO's & fighting games alike. I've grown immune to them and I would def write an IOU to the the person that would teabag me in PvP.
Also ones that usually initiate this tact, can't handle it when it is done back to them...
Clearly rustled your jimmies enough to complain about it on a public forum. Successful tactic.
Fun thing to do: find the teabaggers between outpost, alone, riding their mount. Use a couple of skills then usually they will just stood there...
Time to unleash the emote fest, and kill them with auto-attacks. A slow and painful revenge...
