how do you want the mount system to be ?

I d like to have chocob as a part of option where the player can access though main menu to open the chocobo window where player can equip fashion, feed and check chocobo stats, the choise to ride and dismount can access though option in chocobo window or command like /mount & /dismount.

Chocobo stats:: action to pet the chocobo to inrease stat: str,con,vit,int,min,pie or reduce the chance player to fall off mount while being hit. Those stats will enable to player when they ride chocobo (and I am talking about combat mobs while ride on chocobo)

note: can all the chocobo be 1 size please ?

i want to ride a chocobo capable of intergalactic space travel via dark matter portals.

I want to play dress up with my chocobo.

While I'd also like to see chocobos with certain terrain maneuver abilities, this may be more difficult concerning the zone layout and some could just be pointless.

Now that I'm looking at the stats thing with the OP, I'm also thinking not just Chocobo Racing but CHOCOBO OLYMPICS!

Pfft...I want ponies! XD LOL seriously, I would like the colored ones...just I wouldn't want to have to deal with the way they went about it in XI...breed, feed, raise...blah...I know many people liked that...I just would like something a bit more mainstreamed? Maybe have to quest to get certian color chocobos?

I want it to be very dynamic (adjusting the chocobo's stats, armor, leveling, etc). I don't want it to be too difficult to go from standing on the field to calling your own chocobo. It's going to suck if they clunk it up and make it annoying to just hop on and ride.

Chocobo wars & racing would be fun too.

Edit: I almost forgot that the "mount" system isn't limited to chocobos, but i feel the same regardless.

Chocobos should have 6 stats, much like players. and they should effect speed, digging, damage (when they are allowed to attack with us) and so on.
Chocobos should have gear slots, like players (head, legs, back, tail etc...) and gear should be visible and crafted for them by crafters. (as well as dropped by monsters)
Chocobos should come in at least 6 colors.
Chocobos should be able to carry packs with inventory.
Chocobos should Bring us to places our feet can not.
Chocobos Racing, chocobo Digging, chocobo trading, chocobo raising,

Thats all I can think of.

Oh, and a mount other than chocobos might be fun.

but seriously yeah chocobo raising would be awsome where as you raise the chocobo if raised a certain wait color and stats will change accordingly to food fed and stuff. then chocobo armor with stats imagine how this would boost economy make chocobo gear only access with crafting also food to buff the chocobo speed!

*** i stay true to the only chocobo mounts on FF series ** no other mount but chocobo, variety comes in colors , beak, tail feathers, and armor sets.

That would be neat

Would like to go fast and be able to customize armor/colour.

A breeding quest line and customization is all I really want.

I want a farm with stables that you can use to store and breed your chocobo's. I want to use it for racing and breading new chocobos. Then you can use the different color ones to go over different terrain like oceans and mountains and get summon materia you use to fight super strong weapons. I also want to be able to name my chocobo.

It's simple, I want to be able to get on it (without 10 mouse clicks) ride it to my destination and get off, without timers,fees and zone restrictions.

OMG i would love to see stuff like getting thrown off Chocobo if you get hit, or you can jump on your chocobo while its running towards you, or Chocobo getting frightened when u get thrown off by a mob and thrashing wildly XD! You know, kinda like Zelda Twilight Princess when you get thrown off Epona and stuff.
