PSN still down despite Loeadstoane saying it has been addressed !

PSN is still Down why ou put up it has been recovered if it has not.

Because it was up for a few hours last night. There's issues again now.

To get your PSN back to work try this-> Settings->Network-> Setup Connection-> (wifi/lan)->leave everything on standard until you come up to MTU-Settings there you need to change it to 1473 manually.

That workround helps you getting pass the PSN Log In, but it doesnt help Playing FFXIVARR.

Yea we are able to log in to PSN, but the games that need PSN check before playing doesnt work.

Im in logged on at 10am

Square Enix you owe all playstation users several days of free game time after this stunt from Lizardsquad and PSN, it was your choice to use a third party network with ekstra vulnerability and now we all suffer from it.. and since this will most likely happen in the future seeing how all big company's have no regrets and go all in on greed, you should come up with another loader for ps3 not affected by PSN.

They reported it was fixed because Sony reported that service was coming back online.

I logged in while it was up and I will be leaving it on~ XD

lol, suppose you'd demand free time also if your ISP went out for a few days? SE owes no one anything for this, while I have never seen a Sony licensing contract before, I'm fairly certain Sony made SE put in the PSN requirement, makes no sense to do that extra work to put in extra network checks otherwise.

And it was your choice to use a third party system which relied on a third party service rather than getting a PC! Don't blame Sony or SE for the antics of pathetic no-lives who are so uber they run a script someone else made. If you don't wanna be affected by future PSN outages, use a system which doesn't rely on PSN rather than expect the impossible.

Lol? Sony requires you to login through PSN, not SE. Your rage is truly misplaced.

SE doesn't owe you anything. Sony might, but really the fault lies with the so-called hackers.

Sony doesn't require you to log in to the PSN network to watch Netflix. I was watching Netflix on my PS4 all day yesterday since I couldn't log in the play FFXIV. SE should adopt that same process.

I tried that, but unfortunately my PS4 is new and I forgot to check the system settings. It auto turned off during the night because I was inactive. I've disabled it now, but for the moment I'm kicked out of the game again.

A DDOS attack on Christmas Day brought PSN down (I'm not going to give publicity for the group claiming responsibility). It was briefly back up last night, the 26th, but otherwise has been down since Christmas Day.

As far as I know the DDOS attacks have stopped, so why it's gone down again I don't know.
