9000 & 2002 Errors on Midgardsormr

Working ST this morning and now getting kicked from server several times. First 9000 & then 2002 errors.

Same on Cerberus + seeing lots of ppl with dc icons in Mor Dhona.

Yep I was healing in a low level dungeon, dc'd a few times and huge queues to get back in. Really felt more for the dps who had been waiting for an hour to get in, rather than for me missing out on my DR! Was glad I managed to be able to log back on and finish it, yay :D

Starting to feel like this is going to be an all day thing till the patch later tonight.

Seems to be happening to a lot of people there too since whenever I log back in there's around 200 people in the queue.

Crapping out on Behemoth too. I've been disconnected 19 times in the last 4 hours. Kinda sick of it...

all day today i have problem to stay online in the game
error 9000 - it's a faulty connection to the serer, if something needs to be fixed then it's server lag
also i kinda noticed such errors accure more just before the Maintenance

Getting these 90ks and 2002s on Jenova. Changing data centers then changing back resolves it for a few hours. Seems related to the issues we had the other night with aether data center.

Same situation here on Famfrit. Me and a FC member both noted we were kicked earlier this morning, and I've racked up over 9 90ks, a 90002, and a 2002 when trying to get back in after one of those.

Also had a big spurt of lag when crafting earlier, and took about 20 seconds for the game to register I completed the synth. Bar sat there completely full as I finished it, but nothing was working outside of camera controls at that point.

Seems Lizard Squad is back. They told in late November that they want to turn a lot of Networks/Games/etc offline.

on our fc its only the pc players who are getting this issue

Widespread stability issues in general across North America and elsewhere..it's particularly bad along the US East Coast, where most of us get routed through on the way to Montreal. And it's not just FFXIV--even services like Netflix are feeling the impact. Might have something to do with all the thunderstorms and such in the big storm system moving through today:

It's been raining almost continuously in our area for the last 24 hours, which is known to cause issues for us locally. Old wiring and crap... Time Warner is dragging their feet on upgrades--still see RG59 run in some neighborhoods. Notice how bad that hop for that Conway, SC gateway is lagging in response times. That is a stone's throw from a major retail/tourist trap called Waccamaw, which is on the way into Myrtle Beach, SC.

So, on top of issues that can be tied into foul weather, it is also getting hammered simply because it is mid day on Christmas Eve. That is a prime gateway for us, and it is simply grossly overloaded at the moment. It isn't enough to case me to drop out, but it is causing noticeable jitter in the game and video streams. The Roku's are also buffering about every 10 minutes or so.

this has been happening to me all week, hoped the patch fixed it but first shiva ex i joined kicked me off after a couple of mins, 90k then 2002 errors for the last 10m still cant login.

It only seems to happen in instances like dungeons and trials, everything is perfectly fine, then bam screen freezes then 30secs later 90k, no lag either on teamspeak and skype when this happens.

Thanks for the information Raist, appreciate that :) Yeah I was curious as to what may be causing it, I'd never solely lay the blame on SE, because they're are a myriad things that could go wrong between me and them, I'm going to do a trace route myself in a bit, see what comes up. Haven't been online since yesterday so no idea how the servers are at the moment.
