SE, like the title says please make T13 required to unlock the new jobs, new dungeons, and new raids in the expansion. It only makes sense progression wise. Plus, this will allow people to really learn their class and be fully prepared for the expansion.

So. . .in your head, people need to finish T13 on, say, WHM in order to play as Astrologian with what's probably a completely different play style? This makes sense to you how?

Alexander is 10 levels above the Final Coil, and will feature casual and hardmode lol.

Those who go straight for Hardmode will likely fell T13 in the time before...

Problems with this:

1) Nothing on earth will make bads learn their roles properly. They will either buy wins, otherwise get carried, or wait until they can struggle burger through on Echo.
2) Fully prepared for expansion? What? See above.
3) What, are you posting from an alt? Or have you yourself not even done Coil? Seeing as you have no level 50. Either way, what? Post from your main account, or else you're just showing everyone you're too ashamed of your own opinion to claim it as your own.
4) Why would people pay money for an expansion they can't even use? How does that even make sense to you?
5) You're trolling. Though, I do think "trolling" is something that was made up by people with obviously ridiculous opinions that right-thinking individuals would deride into oblivion, so they can try to save some face by claiming they said something stupid "on purpose".
6) Serves no purpose but to fulfill some elitist fantasy.
7) New raid was clearly designed with more casual people in mind, what with the normal mode. Making them do the most hardcore of dungeons to get access to a casual dungoen is... pretty tralala.

It'll have echo and nerfed mechanics by then anyway.

I hope they make it so to unlock the new jobs you need to:

1. All classes must be level 50.
2. You need to have finished the current relic quests on all classes.
3. You must compleet all the Hildibrand questlines.
4. You must win 100 Frontlines matches.
5. Compleet all the raids in the game.
6. Earn 10.000 Commendations.
7. One of your max level characters needs to be a Lalafell or a Femroe
8. Bought everything on the Cash Shop, atleast once.

This is what the community wants and what they need. Make it happen Yoshi-P

Well if you're worried about playing with bads on new raids, you can always check if they have t13 clear title.

To unlock the new jobs and raid, you will need a level 20 Chocobo, 100% complete sightseeing log, the 'Who wants to be a gillionaire' achievement, and 10 Zodiac Weapons.

You then need to turn in a pair of Hempen Underpants penta-melded with Savage Might IV materia to obtain each new job scroll from Rowena.

Alternatively, the jobs can be purchased in the cash shop for £20 each.

Only through achieving such feats will you truly be prepared for the grindfest ahead!

Well regardless of how OP is a massive troll which I'm amazed people are responding to, as far as nerfed mechanics go, there's a good chance it won't be. SE has left T5 and T9 untouched, so it's likely they will continue that trend and leave the last turn in FCoB untouched as well. They just made the coils easier to get to the end of each set, but still require effort and learning the mechanics if you want to progress to the next set.

Final coil is a bit easier than 2nd coil, mechanic-wise. so with echo, it should be easier to do than 2nd coil, for pugs.
anyway, this is a stupid idea...even worse than locking nin behind 2.4 story.
there's a lot of ppl that wanna play the new jobs, and only a small fraction of players can clear T13.

I almost bought it, OP. However for the sake of argument and for those that possibly down the road may consider this viable and start begging for it I'll say this.

Content in some form or manner will be gated to a certain extent but to outright wall off an entire expansion because a populace hasn't cleared an endgame raid is an exercise in stupidity. Firstly you can't guarantee the entirety is interested in the raid/s and even if they are if they will ever clear it. The "get gud" card has been played too often and frankly is in tatters. I have not done t13 and for that matter been in fcob. Working on scob here and there but with health issues and the holidays I've been too busy to get it squared away. I will get my clear some day and by my own merits. This notion that only the lucky, rich, or stubborn should be allowed is, well, ridiculous. It would be financial suicide for SE to do it that way. "You can buy "said content here" but cannot play it until you beat fcob." The subs would drop like flies. Alexander to a point I could understand and would accept if he was behind the t13 wall. All of Heavensward and content besides that? Not a chance.

That would be stupid to introduce new jobs in the expansion.

but cmon, ppl are gonna pay real money for this, and you wanna lock the majority out of it because it'll benefit you in some weird way? i dont see how.
