Ah, forgot that was going on.
I think I will be changing my main.
Wow, I love the gear. Looks like an interesting job! Will have to pick this one up for sure.
The Globe is a deck of cards. No class, just a pure job. Healer-oriented.
that is one fancy hat
Oh my I really like this job design
Cardcaptor Sakura job?
*throws WHM nexus in the garbage*
The equip reminds me on arcanist's class logo lol
Yea I'm wondering if gambling plays into it some how
I am salivating... when is this expansion again? Please say soon... like spring...
The concept looks interesting, it does look like a "time based" job in which you have to determine best when to execute your skills if the cards are on a roulette. I think they mentioned they wanted to add the ability to be able to choose the card you want to use but in the same essence as corsair it may be based on luck most of the time.
I do see something like the ability to Cure but the potency being based on picking right card and having to know when you have to cure again real quick or being able to move on to next move. So in a way it could be a time management like job that you have to adjust yourself to based on the luck of the cards.
They did mention that 'use the power of the stars to heal' and using the cards as further support.
Which makes me think the curing/healing aspect will likely not be random (thankfully) and the kinds support could very well depending on different variables. Definitely didn't see this healer coming, neat-o.
Thanks op! This class looks like my time for healing has come!
I wonder if the cards will work on a roulette. There's no negative effects connected to them, but the effects may not be what you want. For example, using a specific skill, you pull a RNG-based card and may self-buff yourself, heal yourself, damage the enemy normally, burst damage them, or debuff them. No negative effects as you can tell, but you may not get what you want at the time.
I think that seems very plausible. I don't predict 'busting' like Corsairs in FFXI, but I do potentially see getting the wrong card for the wrong situation and going 'welp, gotta wait 20 more seconds'
Like getting a magic attack buff in a party with no mage DPS, etc.
Perhaps the cards work like Mudra? you match the right cards to get an effect
Your fate is in the cards!
This looks sick! Seriously has me contemplating changing my main.

Kick ass concept.
There's no way I could pull off wearing that gown though.

They say this job starts in Ishgard. Does that mean Ishgard is going to be a new starting city?
Same here. SCH has been my main since launch and I thought I would never change it. This definitely looks amazing and will be my first class to level after expansion. But for me to consider it as my main, I hope it has "depth" in mastering the class so that good healers are set apart from the bads, like how it is with SCH.
Twisted Fate confirmed.
