Why must I wear women's clothes?

I mean this is bad enough:

It's like some cruel joke the developers are playing... That or the designers had to cut corners and give the men and women the same outfits because they were under the gun when they had to rework the game. This game also makes you wear women's gloves and women's shoes... WTF?

Either way, if feels like some collage hazing you have to endure.

There are alternatives as you level up.

How is this wearing women's clothes? I don't understand... This armour is somewhat similiar to what men would have worn a few hundred years ago for combat. You've simply got a very narrow minded 21st century idea about things. And if you don't like it, simply glamour over it.

Wait until you get the HA/Dreadwyrm.....then women characters are like.....why arent my boobs flashing lol

Im going to assume this is meant to be trolling about all the ridiculous times people complain about women being able to wear men's clothes and not vice versa

Seriously though... In medieval times, chainmail which knights wore, looked similar to a longshirt/dress, so I see no problem with SE attempting to make some 'believeable' style armor.

Yeah, it was a bit more masculine when belts were displayed over the top of this gear, but tabards aren't particularly feminine anyway. Just think of it as a long T-shirt.

...Why? The design for BRD AF2 doesn't look girly or anything.

I wear the womens clothes because they let me show how I feel on the inside.

But I don't see a problem with the tunics, seems sort of standard to me. I'd sport hat bard af2 if I could.

From what I gather from OP..... now, correct me if I'm wrong, but.... if I'm not shirtless in a subligar, then I must be in women's clothing... only women wear clothing and armor... right?

Come now, this is Final Fantasy 14. Everyone knows real women go into battle in their bra and panties. Well real women played by 13 year old boys anyway.

because if you are i will say this most outfits in this game are male made, as in , within history most of these outfits would of never been seen on a woman, it would be very unsightly (to there standers) but now we have full mixed since SE have allowed women to wear male clothing, and a few feminine things (such as the full length skirt) to be worn by men by there choice :D
