Question about the eternal bond

Right now my Wife and I are on the standard (free) plan since there's no Paypal option, we were wondering if after we get the wedding done would we be able to buy the Gold/Platinum plan later (after Paypal is implemented) and re-do our wedding?

I cant say for sure but my guess is yes. You throw away the rings and you are no longer bonded.. So go and resign up later for a higher level eternal bond. I doubt there is anything in there that says you got married once you can not get married again..

Be cautous about this. From third- or even fourth-hand sources, I've heard that the wedding questline can only be undertaken once per character. If this is true, it means a given character can only be married once; if they divorce, they are then single forever. This might be an oversight, or it might be a deliberate move on SE's part to prevent abuse of some kind (like someone offering to marry several customers for real life or in-game cash in order to get them minions, clothing, and mounts).

Or it might not be true at all, and you can get married as often as you like. Note that I have no reliable source for this, but as long as there's doubt, you might want to confirm from a reliable source before you make an irreversible mistake. Given the other drama that's cropped up about the Eternal Bond process (such as mismatched pairings defaulting to the lower-value wedding), it's clear that SE hasn't worked out all the kinks yet.

There have been inquiries from quite a few people who would like to upgrade to the Gold or Platinum plans after they’ve already begun down the course of the Standard plan.

In order to hold a new Ceremony of Eternal Bonding, you will have to wait 10 days after you’ve obtained your eternity ring and then return your ring.

Additionally, I have some answers to a couple of other questions that have been floating around.

According to the NPC, up to 2 hours real time.

Does both people who hold the ceremony get the mount? And say if you have more then one toon on your account and you are one if the people who get married in the eternal bonding do your other toons on the same account get the mount to?

For the "eternal bond" is it just a male and female to get married or can it be male and male or female and female ?

no restrictions based on gender or race. does that answer your question?

Considering that you both have to be on the same plan, if you have higher than standard you should both get the mount.

I suspect that will happen after they turn in their rings and start over(yeah I suspect those who choose to upgrade will have to do the quest line again for it)

There are no character restrictions on eternal bonding, any two players of any race, gender or clan can be bonded to one another.

So how about if our guests lives in a different timezone (3 hours ahead of us) but the same server? For example my husband and I wedding starts at 5 in the afternoon. Would our guests have to be there around 8 at their time?

This is true so long as both people have higher than standard. If one person has standard then they are both bound to the standard plan.

Was actually replying to the person toward the bottom of the first page who asked specifically about the mounts, rather than the OP. I believe it's already been noted in the mod post that OP and his wife would have to turn in the rings and redo the quest on the chosen upgraded plan to get the extra items.

I know what you meant. Here's your answer: When you print out your invitations, the time changes for each recipient. Basically it automatically changes to their timezone (console/computer time to be precised).

Sorry for necroing but I wanted to point out that you can now buy Crysta with paypal. Or you could probably back then.

Does anyone know the uk times for registering on each of the plans?

It should show you the local time when you go to register.

If you're talking about times it's unavailable, you can look up a time zone converter.

gold makes you wait a week to get remarried, platinum (unless its changed i dont think it has) can be done the next day usually unless its all booked
