Can my partner use my house?

Anyone know if partners via the eternal bond system can share a house?

Let ya know on Friday when they let us actually do it. The system is in the game, but the ability to actually use it is not.

Not yet, the housing guys are currently working on other content (gold saucer) and aren't available to make the modifications necessary for shared housing at the present time.

I hope to god they don't add this >_< bought my ex a house and now I'll be homeless and some other douche will live in it

If they are adding this for EB patners, hoping while they are it that they add it for all alt chars too :D

Yeah I am pissed about the whole thing. And then she says she's doing it for fun but when asked if she will do eternal bond she says suddenly there is meaning behind it... So confusing :(

Well it was mentioned they had the ability to do it and would be looking into it...
Most hoped it would be part of the eternal bonding system.. Might still be in the future..
My girlfriend and I just bought a house hoping to get married and share the house. Just mainly the stable, mender, garden and stuff like that.
What I think SE is worried about is what happens when two people split?
Anyway that should be who ever the houses name is in gets it. Put it in the terms..
Anyway someone could put a post in the live letter questions section for the next live letter and see if it gets answered?

I also dont understand why you could not have a room mate... This certainly would make housing more popular and maybe make the subdivisions a little more active.. Ours is like a ghost town, barely see anyone.

Which is sad, really. People wanted personal housing for so long, and now that it's in the game people don't even use it. On Leviathan, the houses are pretty much the same copy pasta of:

Outside: Base house with no upgrades, no fence, empty/dead gardening plot, dirty chobobo stables.
Inside: A bed, grand company themed wallpaper, 1 chair in the middle of the room, random wall hanging.

It's like that everywhere you go here. I dread whenever a plot opens up in my ward, knowing that someone will quickly swoop in and snatch it up as a personal house instead of a FC moving in.

Allot of FC are not using theirs either. I love the housing, it was a nice distraction crafting all the stuff for the house and decorating it. Something different and I am happy they added it. I hope SE does not let both FC and personal housing go by the wayside. I hope they keep adding stuff to it and giving people more reasons to use there houses.
