Been too busy working on all the other stuff (GC seals, running around buying all the vendor stuff, popping a ton of maps for the Belah'dian Silver - the drop rate is quite decent, got 4 in 10 Boarskin maps - desynthing for the other mats, trying to call in as many contacts as I can for what I can't get, etc.) to actually farm dungeons. From what I've seen the drop rate isn't too bad, I'd have to guess it might be somewhere around 15-25%.

You need 6400 soldiery, 80k seals, then gil sinks for the rest of the items as well though.

Really, the only super-time consuming thing is the 6400 soldiery. Still, will take lots of people less than a month to get it for sure

I can't understand the hate about AV.
It is the best dungeon below lv50 that is not a faceroll dungeon.

Enemies have a lot of HP relative to the iLVL sync, they hit hard, and PUGs are notoriously unreliable in it. It's definitely not something you want to get stuck on.

Another issue is that if you have a pre-50 character, particularly a tank, you're sort of at the whim of whether or not they want a full clear for the exp or not as opposed to speed running most of the rest of the dungeons that take 10-15minutes max.

In the old days, 2 years in the past, they had much more HP ^^
At least you don't have to do a 17 minute speedrun to get 100% relict item drop, where every pull and AoE have to be optimized to save every bit second you can.

It's ATMA all over again. Yay. Just... yay. -_-

With a decent group, who knows how to skip most of the mobs it can be done in about 14-15 minutes, which is nice. However, if you have a gimp troup you sit in there for 40+ minutes -.-

Okay, so did some number crunching here.

Based on all of the posts that I've gotten (up to #34), there are 311 runs, with 45 successes. That comes out to roughly 15% (14.5% approx). So, it's not quite as bad as Atma, just appears to be so.

On hullbreaker now. I finally got through wanderer's palace and copperbell was a first try.
Wish Hullbreaker wasn't so long. At least I'm getting tomes.

Definitely not as bad as Atma, but the odds are juuuust low enough that if you get stuck in s string of bad luck you still risk gouging your own eyes out while watching 6-7 of your friends waltzing around with nothing else to do while you continue to suffer.

I'm going slowly because the prices for the crafting part are totally insane. The alchemist craft is at 5m currently on Cerberus... The others are in the range of 600k-2m. Totally not worth it. with my friends me might succeed to craft 3 of them. The others will have to wait that the top crafters stop being douches and start to notice that awful overpricing isn't helping anyone
