2.45 Zodiac Weapon Guide

Incase anyone is curious how the thing goes.

Credit to the OP in reddit.

TL;DR
- Run 12 different dungeons for drops that has a small percentage drop rate. (I actually manage to get 1 of the item in 3 runs)
- You need to do 3* crafting + gathering on all classes, and able to desyn (I think a good desyn lvl for it was 70ish, since I got 91% success at 79 Culinarian) All of these items are trade-able, so buy em if you don't have any way of getting it yourself.
- You also need a total of 6.4K soldiery, 80K GC seals and 400K gil.

Let me know if I'm missing anything.

Edit: Yes you can get HQ mats from desyn.

The drop rate is lies, i have done brayflox hard mode 10 times and nothing pure luck that people get it in 2 runs or im just really unlucky.

I guess we can agree that it's basically 12 atmas in a dungeon rather than fate.

At least you can work on it before getting to that part. Do you have to have the weapon equipped to get the dungeon atmas ?

Apparently the dungeon drops don't require you to be using your Nexus - in fact, you can be in an entirely different class, so long as you have the quest active.

Do you need to be level 50 class or any class?

What about the last quest, I don't see it in there. Is it just a quest to go talk to people, because "His Dark Materia" sounds like another daunting task to me.

Level 50, due to that being the entry requirement to all the dungeons. Except the one from Aurum Vale which I just noticed is on there.

We're at less than 12 hours into this I seriously doubt anyone's unlocked it yet.

I love this quest until the 3 star crafts have to be HQ it seems. That hurts a little

Can the desynth item be HQ ? Because if all the items can be HQ then it wouldn't be too hard even if you aren't perfectly melded, or just ask a nice crafter, I'm sure there are some out there ^^.

If you're talking about the drops from the dungeon, I believe you need to have Nexus complete anyways. So you need to be 50, or 47 for aurum vale and 44 for Dzemale.

From the look of it, that quest seems to be a joke poking fun of the adventurer for actually grinding for this.

Dzemael Darkhold is on that list too, so that's two dungeons you can do and not be 50, will be interesting to see if you need to be 50 to get the item since I know you don't need to be on the nexus job to get the item.

At this point it really shouldn't be too hard to find a 3-star crafter who can HQ things for you if you bring them the materials (And the number should start increasing because of the reductions to the gateway to the Artisan's gear). It is entirely possible to HQ a 3-star craft without RNG or HQ components.

They can be I gotten a few of them the silver from Maps aren't HQ, and I'm not a gatherer so I don't know how hard the Pumice/Cypress Log HQ are

Are the 3* crafting items no trade? If so thats going to suck.

I was laughing hysterically at the 3* crafting and desynth needed for this quest until I read that the items were tradeable. Ah well...

The crafting items are tradeable but do they have to be HQ anyone confirmed?
