Yoshida why? ; ;
(I'm fine with things being in the "cash shop", just I find it depressing that the dyes don't have sets like fantasias where you can buy multiples for cheaper)

$1 feels way to high. I'd pay a few cents for a single pot. $1 really should be at least a set of 5. Course, mutter all I can I highly doubt it'll ever be changed.
It would be nice if they did what EA did with the Sims 3 cash shop and have occasional sales on everything.
One dollar for a dye when it cost you two dollars for a retainer for 30 days. Something is wrong with that.
idk, maybe a dollar or 5 is rough for some people but

Do you need that dye OP?
Wish there was at least a small chance of the new dyes being available through quick ventures, like with the previous batch. Then you would have a choice between putting your faith in RNG, or forking over the cash for immediate results.
And is it really only 1 dye per transaction? That's pretty stingy :(
Being able to buy something doesn't necessarily equate with it being a good price. I could buy whole oceans of these new dyes, but still think a dollar a pop is perhaps pushing it. Honestly, I'd be less irritated by the shameless cash grab if there was something to show for it. The game still isn't very good, they still take forever to change anything, still cry about not having a very large dev team, etc. etc. Put that money to good use, you're certainly getting enough of it at this point.
I have already seen people in full sets of the cash shop dyed armor.
I wouldn't buy it but I do wonder sets of 4 and 5 aren't available.
I bought 5 of the red metallic. I might get flamed for this, but I don't see a buck each being a real problem. $24 for a horse? That's a problem.
I only used 2 though. I'm a Lalafell, so it's not like you can see anything other than my body piece, lol.
I do wish they offered silver, been trying ventures for a week at i80+, still nada.
It's a good price if people buy it. And I've seen tons of these. I can see if you're 13 with a paper route that's a bigger deal than if you're working for a decent salary. I don't think people are throwing so many of these dyes onto so many sets that the average person, well, if someone's spent more than $10 on these it'd be on the higher end.
It'd also be cool to see SE's financial statement with a before and after these things.
As far as your opinions about the game not being good, that's your own, and if the fact you still subscribe disagrees with that assertion enough I don't need to add anything to that.
It's the principle. Pretend dye shouldn't cost as much as real dye. And stuff like that adds up. If I spent 10 times what it was worth every time I bought something I'd be homeless.
I know this is off-topic, but there haven't been kids with paper routes since like the 1950's or something. Papers are delivered by adults in trucks. Pretty sure it's not even legal to hire a 13 year old.
I'm showing my age a bit, but I had a paper route at 14- in the early 90's -and I just needed a permit I got from the local library with my parents' permission slip. Tips were shit, only old people had papers delivered to them, so I quit after 3 months to work in a comic book shop. I could only work 4 hours a day on school days, and 8 on the weekends. But anyway.
Get off my lawn.
so we have to pay one dollar for one pot of a color… for our glamour that maybe will last 2/3 weeks.
So if I want a Summoner total in Metallic Red I have to pay 4 dollars (head/chest/gloves/shoes).
Devs, don't you think it's just… too expensive?
Ok, we are not obligated to buy them, it's a luxury shop but… it's a pot of a dye… lol
Crazy idea here, but why is everyone here complacent that it's in the cash shop anyway and not available through in-game means when we play a monthly sub to avoid free-to-play bullcrap like that?
This is why you use them on all jobs gear that has a look you want regardless of job, and keep that handy. Like most of this:

Everything but the head crosses over to my smn, and I just go hatless on that. $4 for that. no biggie
It seems stingy to sell consumables in such small quantities when a player may want to use several dozen over the next year or so. If they're selling dyes I'd really prefer a permanent acquisition type system. Really a permanent acquisition method would just be better all around since most dyes are nothing more than extremely minor inconvenient gil sinks for glamour.
I don't think its expensive at all Oo
sure a bundle would be more convenient but tbh I don't think its too badly priced...
would rather this then going through 200+ ventures not to see any black or white dye -.-
