House upgrade question

So I'm about to purchase a medium house. I have a small already. Do I need to relinquish the small plot first before I can purchase the medium plot? I'd like to hold on to the small one while I move all the furniture to the new house. Couple hours tops probably.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Not possible. You have to relinquish the small before you can buy the medium.

Can't happen. They must've done an exploit or something, or you have someone who copied someone else's name but changed out a character for something that looks like that.

I know FCs are only limited to a single house, not sure if private houses work the same way.

I personally tried to purchase multiple individual plots, and it was not possible.
You can have one individual plot per character.

They create an alt and have it as the owner. No single account can own more that two houses, one private and the other FC.

Careful with the word account. I'm fairly certain you can own multiple individual plots per account, as long as they are on different characters.
