Retainer Gathering (Botany)

Okay, so my retainer is a Botanist. The only thing she will ever be doing as a Botanist, is to farm Wind Shards (Lvl 1).
Does her level at all effect how many she gathers? Say if you have two Botanist retainers, one at level 30, and one at level 50. You send them both out to farm Wind Shards (Lvl 1) for an hour. Will the level 50 farm more wind shards than the lvl 30?:confused:

Yes level effects the speed and I believe the amount that they come back with

The most shards they will ever bring back is 60, which you can reach with just a level 10-15-ish retainer with level 10-15-ish gear. I use my three alts' retainers to farm shards for me, and I certainly can't be arsed to level and gear all 12 of them up, so I just left them in level 10-15 gear and it was enough to hit the 60 shards/hour mark.

my retainer is level 50. and only brings back 10 shards. how to get more shards per venture??? please share ^_^

Are you using the botany venture, specifically for the shard you want?

Managed to get it down to 40 minutes. Anyone know if it's possible to lower that time more?

That's the lowest it will go.

i still wouldn't mind knowing how yall doing this. my BTN retainer is lv50. and only brings back 10 shards per 50minutes. seriously... what am i doing wrong? some help please lol :/

Have you upgraded their gear? That is the only logical explanation for why you're getting that amount.

they have what ever gear my character used to have. the IL55 stuffs and the blue main hand from the quest. the gathering is high enough for highest exploration venture.

Are you sending them for shards, or for crystals?

it's the level one ventures. in the first category. they're shards and she only bring back 10 every 50minutes. i don't know. maybe i reset the retainer and try leveling it up on one of the paid retainers. probably something exclusive. :/

There is no difference from a paid retainer to one of the originals. None. I receive the same amount from each dependent on their actual level and it has nothing to do with the gear.

My retainers retrieve 60 level 1 elemental shards every 40 minutes, at level 50. This should be standard.

You will probably want to file a support ticket and/or bug report for this, before you reset the retainer, since it'll take you a long time to get back to 50 with it.

It is affected by gear. i've had them bringing back 40, then just upgraded their gear, now they're bringing back 60

then what else? my gear is good. she can do the highest level exploration ventures. i just want to know how to bring back more then 10 shards every 50 minutes. somebody please share secret :/
