I mean think about it. Blizzard ent. has confirmed that they have been victim of recent DDoS attacks as have other MMO's. Maybe it's FFXIV being attacked now?
Did anyone consider this to be another DDoS Attack?

Also, hitting the 'World Full' queue, so it means that things are getting through. No... I think this is a coordinated 'Let's have thousands log on to the servers at once and see if we can crash it' kind of thing. There's not been a world queue on my server in months and suddenly there's one tonight... yeah, something fishy with that.Quote:

I would not be surprised if that is what is going on.
That world ques are likely from disconnected players trying to log in. If the servers are getting hit by a DDoS then its not overwhelmingly powerful enough to cause a crash but strong enough to interfere with people's connections.Quote:

Rift was attacked because it had just out their expansion.
Why would anyone attack FFXIV at this point in time? On a random sunday that only inconveniences the ones who are going to be playing/paying for the game regardless of what happens?
What would be the point?
