Front lines: Grand Company stereotypes?

As the titles ask, are there any general stereotypes you'd say you've noticed between the people and tactics of the 3 grand companies?

Not looking for outright grand comapny trashing but like anything in a generalised sense, your impressions.

Like I'd say Adders have a more sneaky game play, Sneaky snakes! but they are always trying to steal an op.

Maelstrom are always trying to ZERG,

what others would you say ?

Twin Adders: ignore mid, keep camping flags and can't event defend them, fail to capture other flags.

Maelstrom = Maelstrong, win the most
Serpents = Destroy the Flames at the upper-right base consistently but end up losing long term to Maelstrom
Flames = Generally fail to accomplish anything but occasionally pull out a win where they just crush

I haven't played very much, but any time I'm in a group (Flames) we have like 2-3 people who act like they're leading, but never actually tell anybody to do anything. They just criticize people for doing the wrong thing or being bad in general. Basically feels like a bunch of headless chickens running about doing their own thing with some vague group based parameters. It's amazing that it actually works sometimes.

Each datacenter seems to have its own individual stereotypes for the GCs.

For Aether, my personal stereotypes are "many good players, but we often have to fight our own idiots as well as the other two GCs" for the Immortal Flames, "Accursed Balmung Premades!" for Adders and finally "Guard the OP B! Storm is trying to Ninja it."

Maelstrom(for me): Zerg Adders, ignore Flames. I've seen many times Flames capturing every Maelstrom base and they still are intent of killing Adders >.>.
Adders: Run up to middle and get no drones plus lose OP.

I don't see a lot of Flames except for Markets.

I've heard tales about maelstorm being the best bet for winners but from my actual experience it's mostly Adders =_=

Could be that those good pvp players from MS switched to other GC though...

Depends on Datacenter really. Except for Flames, they generally get crushed everywhere D:

From what I've seen...Maelstrom perform steadily well, they tend to win or at least be a close second in all the matches I play. Twin Addler are 50/50, and Flames either get crushed and are a bunch of clueless noobs or brutally dominate.

Adders: Sneaky tricksy, we let the other two duke it out and steal mid from them whilst maintaining one or two bases. Doesn't always work.
Maelstrom: ZERG! CRUSH! TIL SEA SWALLOWS ALL!!!
Flames: Charge into battle no matter how many enemies they're outnumbered by, and flee after killing one or two people.

yeah, Aether is mainly that. Add to it the Adder's premade from Balmung which policy is : "crush them all on all grounds then laugh at the monstrous margin we made". They fail to be in the game if they lose the first clash though.


From what I see on Chaos (any GC) :
"kill healers !!"
"No kill mages"
"kill healer mages then"
"oh wait there's a tank, LET THE BLOOD BATH BEGIN !!"
"eeeeeeh, all dead"
(the winner side is picked up at random depending who died first and how many healers were here. Ninjas usually fail their sneak attacks and get zerged in an horrible manner)

Maelstrom: just way too strong. "Oh shit, we're 400 points down! Kill everyone twice". The GC then proceeds to have what appears to be two parties at every fucking location. At the Manors. Outside the Serpent preparation den. At the Serpent Outpost. At the Heliodrome. If you're in this GC's fov, and they're in kill mode, their Whms will charge at you, as if whatever action they take is done with total impunity. Ofcourse swiftcast - sleep is next, followed by you being Fluid Aura into the horde. The horde then eviscerates you with deft swiftneess.

Whenever I see a Lalafell in full Syrcus gear sprinting towards me and that distinctive swiftcast sound goes off, I just silently cry inside.

Adders: Healer guild in the city. Always seem to have many healers at flags.
Maelstrom: Healer guild in the city. Always seem to have many healers at flags.
Flames: No healer class in the city. Constant arguing that people need to switch to healer. No-one swaps to healer. We get zerg'd

Twin adder: "only protect 3 flags don't go ninja on your own"
Maelstrom: "Go ninja Twin adder op"
Flames: "Go ninja Twin adder op"
