Of Primal Horses

Okay, so every primal extreme currently drops a fancy, element-themed horse, right?

So why doesn't Good King Moggle Mog the XII -long may he reign- get to drop one? Why are we denied the splendor of a unicorn where instead of a horn, it has a moogle's pom-pom? How could the devs allow this opportunity to slip by them?

The primal horses are mostly elemental horses. What element is King Moogle?

He's heart, if you combine him with earth, wind, water, and fire. It'll summon Captain Eorzea and he'll reduce the bot count down to zero.

King moogle mog isn't really a primal.

Shiva isn't too.

moggle mog is also the weakest of the primals, technically speaking (he's the only primal where the fight is more against his adds than him). So he probably doesn't have the mojo required for a horse.

Doesn't Papalymo in the MSQs say that the Good King Moggle Mog and Shiva were in fact primals?

Shiva and Mog are Primals. Also, Pluto is a planet. /trollface

In addition to a moogle pom, the Mooglecorn needs to make cute little "Kupo" squeaks when its hooves strike the ground and kick up tiny cotton puffballs.

It reeeeeeeeeeeeeally doesn't matter if he is or is not a primal. There should totally be a fancy mount drop from this fight! OP is right!

they are summoned, drain aetheric force of Eorzea, etc.. thus are primals.

Not the same kind of primal than Ifrit, Garuda, Titan, Levi and Ramuh as they do not depend on crystals to be summoned. They aren't like Bahamut nor Odin as they still need a call to exist, when the other 2 just are.
SE became quite tricky in the definition of a primal being with this patch though, maybe we'll have more to know in 2.5

on topic, I'd like to ride one of those big moogles that summon the king. The war one would fit my own WAR :3

There was a call for Bahamut to exist. It was just a long long long time ago. It's referenced in the T12 opening cutscene. Also, I could've sworn Shiva's followers stole a boatload of crystals.

I'd totally like to see a Mog horse. It'd be adorable! :3

They did. However the crystals were not used to maintain Shiva in this world, as Iceheart used her own body to do so. That's the main difference. Mogs used their wish as a core, Iceheart used her body, the other primals were mere Aether stuck around crystals.

From the new final coil cutscenes it seems like the dragons trapped in the matrix-like stasis tubes are actually keeping bahamut constantly summoned.

Instead of a horse we should get a rideable moogle mount, similar to the bomb mount but with moogles.

Not for nothing, I am actually legitimately curious why Good King Moggle Mog The XII -hallowed be His name- doesn't have a mount drop.

Good "Great" King Moggle Mog - May his glorious name live on forever - Rides in to Thornmarch (Brutal) atop his trusty steed, the Magnificent Moggle Mare.

Trailing behind him are his usual entourage - the valiant Mogglesguard.
They too are riding on smaller but just as magnificent and thus aptly named, Miniature Moggle Mares, each one stylized in the colour of the Poms of each Moogle.

He is the most powerful element CUTENESS!
