Personally Im really excited for the Mages to get re-evaulated. Ive put off leveling a lot. Im almost always just sitting in Uldah talking with the rest of the Dojo. I think if SE could nail down the WHM, RDM and BLM jobs I would enjoy the leveling a lot more. The auto-mp regen has helped the CNJ job become a lot more fun to play (no more spaming spirit dart!), but I think the best has yet to come.
So what about you guys? what are you looking forward too the most?
Chocobos? Airships? AF equipment? Instances? NMs that arnt a total joke and take little skill to kill?

Also, I'm glad quests have started to appear. Even though the ones so far are really basic, I know that tons of script writing and cut scene animation aren't top priority right now. But I look forward to the future :) -

We have a few members of CKD who love the OST to FFXI and tons of other games. We have a few threads dedicated to video game OST music on the CKD forums.
I think my track from FFXI is Ronfaure, but honestly theres so much good music in FFXI. FFXIV has some great music too though.

More defined jobs like Paladin, White Mage, Red Mage, Black Mage, etc (current jobs are lacking and have ridiculous names IMO). I am also looking forward to Chocobos, Airships, and hopefully new fun quest lines like Zilart, Cop, etc.

My fav tracks from FFXI soundtrack were the BCNM and Dynamis-Xarc cause they get my blood pumping just like they did while playing, also Zitah and Batallia are great. It's all great, in fact.
More than anything else I think I'm looking forward to more effort into the storylines. The storylines in FFXI were wonderful to me. I really felt like I was pulled into the game and was part of the adventure. In this game I feel like I'm touring a demo world with no heartstrings being tugged upon. -

Is anyone as excited as I am for Ishgard to open up? I can still remember running to the gates when they first unlocked the zone. I assumed it would be open at launch, lol. Same with Airships and Chocobos.
Oh well, its nice to see the game is finally moving in the rights direction. -

I'm looking forward to each class having their own point allotment and simplifying the stat, skill, spell formulas in general. Stop this god forsaken wide ranged soft cap and have us be more creative with our modifiers. If you start to get diminishing results after 110 points, just... lower soft cap at R50 to that amount and hard cap at 130 to leave room for gained stats through gear and conversion traits. Everyone just caps out VIT with minimal priority in other stats. Then I'll be able to start playing Pugilist again! >_<

I did have to reassign when switching back, but any melee can get away with only having 80 DEX and 100 STR. Which goes back to my excitement over when they said they were going to gut the formulas. There is honestly not much of a difference between a melee character who has capped STR and one who only has 100-110. It's ridiculous lolQuote:
