Has this happened to anybody else? I bought it right after 2.4 landed, but didn't build the house or anything, I left the plot there for 3 days, was focused on other stuff, and now the plot is no longer mine and my 5 million gil are gone? Is it because that emergency manteinance that messed it up or I'm missing something?
My plot is gone...?

Yes it was small plot #53 dappled stalls subdivision. It was mine the day before yesterday. It's no longer mine.
What the hell...very pissed right now, I'm sure it was that emergency manteinance from yesterday, because there were a lot of plots bought around me also and they are magically gone too.

And second, if they believe a house was purchased with RMT gil they will take it.

Uh.... Take this with a lot of salt but wasn't there a system in place where, if you don't build a house on a plot in a certain period of time you automatically forfeit the plot?

Is there any policy with buying a plot and not purchasing a house on it for x amount of days? That'd be my first assumption, as seeing how it could cause players to buy a plot to reserve (or sell) for another player.
Edit: I wrote that before refreshing my page. Honestly I think it's a smart idea - if you have enough gil to buy a plot, you should have enough to purchase the house. I can totally understand SE not wanting you or others "reserving" their plots for future use, especially since the same practice coincide with RMT. -

Hahahaha, the first thing I thought of when I read your post honestly was that you were just looking at the wrong plot.
I bought a plot recently and lost track of it for 15 minutes teleporting back to the area too, no worries.
