I know there's gotta be some folks who have hit max level on NIN or are very close. What do y'all think of the class/job so far?

I saw 1 crackhead 12hrs ago in ST as 50NIN.... he was pretty terrible, if that's any indicator of what "flying through your job" will do to it....
Having flashbacks of the old FATE job powerleveling parties that resulted in CT runs with vendor geared people who barely knew how to do more than spam AoEs.
I'd rather take my time and level up via dungeons so i have my rotations down as well as possible by the time i step into my sexy Monk/BRDs stuff. lol.
I'm not a level 50 Ninja yet, but I believe I can provide some fair insight. Please take the time to read my post, I would welcome any feedback :D.

that only works if every nin, fate grinds non-stop. otherwise you're ahead of of the wave, and solo fates...which is super not effective...so he probably bought dungeons runs, or had friends that boosted him.
i'm 42 NIN, and it's fun....but FATEs aren't...but im sure at 50 it's nice.
i seen 2 lv 50 nins on Balmung.
Well it's not like NIN was hard to play, It's basically the DRG priority order with WAR style combo.
Debuff combo>Dot>DotCombo>DMG Combo. Then I guess ( I didnt unlock all the ninjutsus ) it's refresh Fuuton and use Raiton on single target, Doton and Katon on multiple targets and Suiton when the Trick Attack is ready. Hyouton when you need ice cream.
You just need to read the skills to know that .
Hey now, I fate grinded all the way to 40 so far, and there are plenty of bosses that will last long enough for you to practice and learn some rotations. I believe I've been able to learn and play Nin correctly so far, their opening burst is incredible and I can generally keep aggro on most fate bosses, even with high level tanks (still learning of course) on the same boss.
Good players learn no matter how they level. Bad players don't learn no matter how they level. It's a bandwagon. Lots of new/Returning/inexperienced players are jumping on. Dead horse blah blah etc get over it.
As for the OP, it seems really interesting. Rogue as a class is pretty stale imo, but the job really has a giant impact on how it plays unlike most. Jobs like mnk, drg, blm, brd etc really dont change a whole lot with a crystal. It's just better at doing what it already did. Jobs that add a flexible new resource are the ones that really diverge from the class in how they feel. You only get 5 abilities to differentiate a job so they need to be versatile and ninjutsu add the most of any job because of the varying combination effects. I really like that. They add a new resource like war Wrath but give it even more applications through combinations and the haste changes nin pacing unlike other jobs. Really feels different.
I'd say don't take too many opinions seriously at this point. getting to 50 inside of 2 days isn't likely to yield much useful info from many people.
I'd be weary of any information people will bring this early after the class was released. I'm sure plenty of people remember the posts at release about how Summoners' damage was terrible, and that was with having access to Thunder as well.
I fail to understand why people want to rush to 50, take your time. Learn as much as possible. Next thing you know, you'll be complaining about not having anything to do again.
Only 34 NIN here, but up until 30 it feels like lancer with only 1 combo set. (In how you play it anyways)
The mudras seems interesting, but will probably come to be a hassle later :P
Wonder if SE would let us have the rabbit from botched ninjutsu as a minion?
