Is PSN under matinence?

This is how i play the game so I don't know If i'm the only one getting this :(

Do you know how long is this maintence?

I'm logged into it from my ps4 just fine, can check my psn profile and everything, my fiance however is unable to get to her game through our ps3, because she's unable to sign into psn.

It's totally laaaame! What horrible timing for this to happen too. I had just bought myself a fantasia potion. Sad lala right here.

Many PS4 users have troubles too, and we can't seem to find a word from Sony about what's going on.
Don't know how long it will last.

Got in this morning just fine on PS4. Now I cannot. Lame.

Okay, so when I first turned on my PS4 earlier I was able to download PS4 patch 2.0, after installing it, it kicked me from PSN and wouldnt allow me to sign in again...

I downloaded the 2.4 patch on my PS4 this morning in around 30 minutes.

I'm currently downloading the PS4 system update and it's taken 30 minutes to download 148 MB...

Another PS4 user here reporting that the PSN still appears to be down.

PSN interrupted my Copperbell run to try to update - which I ignored of course (arterial bleeding couldn't get me to leave a dungeon on rogue at this point). Once it was done I decided to let the update happen.

Stupidly.

Because now I'm completely locked out. Can't connect to the playstation network.

The part I LOVE though, is the "Test Internet Connection". Which says my connection is great, but can't connect to PSN. It then suggests checking MY connection.

Sigh.

I'm on PS4. I was playing earlier and it booted me off and forced me to do the update. I'm logged into PSN now, but can't launch the game. I get to stare at a black screen for 10 minutes before error NW-31201-7 comes up, cannot connect to server.

Must be worst timing for update along with the PSN maintence :(

Its all to do with the latest psn update (2.0) which included youtube uploading and a few other things. According to an outage website, the problem only lies in the UK and central europe, and has peaked during this hour.

I've been having the problem myself.

i was booted from the game and I can't log into PSN. I've been trying for the last 20 minutes. I'm on PS4. You have to love it now that they are charging users and can't keep their network running right.

Yup. I hurried through work like crazy to get a two hour break today, hoping I'd actually get a bit of time to look at all the new content before midnight tonight... And nope, PSN is down over in California. I love you oh-so-much Sony.

Should be a lesson for SE too - don't release major updates on the same day as planned PS4 updates.

PS4 system update downloaded, can't connect to PSN.

*sigh* Wish we weren't forced to go through PSN to reach the FFXIV servers.

Oh well, looks like I'm playing on my laptop tonight. ;_;

I'm signed into PSN now but it still won't let me connect to the game. If I go to the PSN store it says it's under maintenance.

to be fair, from what I can gather from the lack of any announcements for planned maintenance and the fact that people were reporting problems with the 2.0 update for PS4 I think it was more of an emergency maintenance.

I'm signed in on PSN but the game keeps giving me the error: NP-36147-1

I can play Destiny though.... Weird.

Back up for me as well.

I'm having issues with the PS4 version as well. Around 8 am, It glitched and kicked me out of FFXIV. But after RE-installing 2.0 (twice), I was able to log back on. Played for a few hours and logged off.

Now i'm unable to log in again. I'm getting the message: "An error has occurred. (NP-36147-1). No word from Sony. This is just great. And to think, I just payed for another 3 months of ps+.. This is getting ridiculous.

It's working for me now.

Fingers crossed I get going again tomorrow, especially with the rogue class, after nearly 2 hours wasted, with both psn and game patch update on
