New Primal Mount Drop Rate

I was just curious if anyone has run any EX primals to see how the new drop rate is for horses?

Before patch i seen the Garuda horse drop twice in a row. That doesn't answer your question :P.

Going to take a lot longer then 8 hours into a patch to have any worthwhile data on a drop rate. Doubt many are farming ex primals anyway.

Ran Ifrit EX to farm an Aithon for a friend yesterday. Saw 2 drop out of 5 runs we did. Drop rate severely increased.

Probably will be sometime to know as all the focus is more or less Rogue now, lol
I would also like to know drop % as i have yet to see it drop after doing it countless times (before 2.4)

It's true. Before the patch we farmed this for two months straight every night around 1AM EST to 5AM EST and didn't see but one drop. A guy in our group rolled on it by mistake and won it from the friend we were farming it for. So that's why we kept running it until yesterday. After seeing two drop like that I'm convinced the drop rate is much higher now. Also paired with the fact that the primal accessories are able to be desynthisized into Battlecraft III and Primal Demimateria it's worth running if you have friends that are GSM desynthesis.

So, last night I was able to complete 4 Levi EX runs and 4 Garuda EX runs. I would have liked to have done more, but a few of the DF groups I got in were absolutely horrible.

First Levi EX kill, the mount dropped. I rolled a 4 :mad:

Garuda didn't drop any mount in the 4 runs I did, however she did manage to drop three Rings of Casting in a row :mad:

I know that feeling of rolling singles on something rare.. But you saw one with such short runs. This is awesome.. Might need to make an LS for pony farming..

You are totally right. I was pissed last night, but now I should realize I should have a positive attitude because in only 8 wins, I saw a mount. That's not bad. Now, if I can just get my FC to farm with me, I'd be golden. Most of them were busy learning Shiva EX.

Yep, mostly because it's hard to find people who can pull themselves away from farming Ninja fates. :D

I don't know what's worse, getting a really low roll for something rare, or getting second highest roll. I think rolling a high 80's or low 90's and losing to one person sucks more, like with the minion in ST the other day.

I know how that goes too. About three weeks ago, Xanthos whistle dropped. I rolled an 89 and I got super excited because that's a pretty high number, I figured I had a really good shot at winning. Someone else rolled higher.

Last night in an ST, I was got really excited cause I rolled a 98 on an wind-up onion knight. Got outrolled with a 99. >_>

That happened to me as well. I think I rolled a 93 but someone else won the minion.

I did however won 3 antiques and some i90 necklaces with high 90s though

I'll prolly start a Linkshell or 2 soon (one for pony farming, the other for bronies so that they won't flood the pony farming one just because of the name)

Did Garuda EX about 6 times tonight, Xanthos dropped on the first win. Course, I rolled a 31 and didn't win. :(

I always want Aithon but not many ppl like to farm ifrit that much.mostly garuda or levi,though.
