What are you spending your Poetics on first?

As the title suggests, what will it be.

I will prolly start with pants first. Then work on Body or head. Hard to say though. Thoughts?

Between my tanks and BLM, I'm prioritizing lowest item level slots.

Ill wait a bit to see how much SS impact on ninja and then ill buy BIS items first, even if im not going to do coil t10+ atm.

I will be saving up for blm chest piece, seing as i use blm for coil and EX Primals
I will still be finishing off other classes with Soldiery gear however

I'd like to say weapon but the summoner one is terrible.

A wise answer would be depending on what drops in coil. So if anyone has info on what turns drop what pls post it. thanks

Weapon>body>legs>everything else.

Considering my raid group and I were still stuck on SCoB before 2.4 dropped I will most likely pick up the caster chest piece first since I main BLM/SMN in my group. After that the pants. From there on out it'll just be on priority basis of what I need at the time. (Like the ring since I have TERRIBLE luck getting the HA caster ring to drop).

Since the bard set sucks even more than the soldiery set, it's hard to say - probably the gloves, since they actually have something besides skill speed on them.

the only thing i know i'm not buying with it is gear for my summoner......... The stat distribution is so incredibly bad it is comical. Spell Speed everywhere...............

Have you seen the bard poetic gear? The majority of bard BiS will probably be poetic...

Caster chest in a week. Loving the itemization for BLMs, though my SMN is pissed as hell. They really need to spit the gearing there and the WHM/SCH ones as the classes go for nearly opposite stats.

I did my BRD BiS, in order to have around 525 acc for T13 (I go up to 550 with lava toad legs, which would be more than enough for T13), end then maximizing crit and det.

Poetic stuff (even the weapon) has crappy stats for BRD.

I'll be getting the body for my SCH. Unlike soldier gear, which had crit on it, and was easier for SCH's to gear up, it is a WHM's turn this time, seeing as though the body has determination + piety on it.

I have to say that nope. Ironworks for BRD aren't entirely crap - 4/6 of their body are actually good (accuracy + crit/det or crit + det) but taking into account of overall mix/max with accuracy requirement, we only need 4 Ironworks pieces. The hands and gloves are usable if T10 refuses to drop that for you by the time you got your Magitek Bow.

I would probably complete the full set for glamours tho.

Oh, I agree, if RNG don't like us, we would have to use other items, that's right. I just speak here about the BiS (well, the one I am expecting). I am just sad that our i130 weapon has crappy stats, and the two other big pieces too (body and legs). At least soldiery body was great. Now, poetic body and legs suck. And even if the loot table for all the turns is not known yet, I have the feeling we are going to have FcoB body and legs dropping on the two last turns, as it was for BcoB and ScoB...

As usual business, saving 1300 poetics for 120 weapons

Probably. I think only healer chest dropped in the 2nd turn of SCoB, all else last 2 turns. And yeah, while I really adore the design of the Magitek Bow, it is another skill spd crap...

Given my shitty luck with RNG in both previous coil installments I have went the crafted route first lol.
