4 star crafting stats

My guess is weaver desynth on allagan gear from T1-5. Just a guess, of course.

Have you got and melded an artisan's spinning wheel to do the hq turn ins? Getting to 8k quality and 800 progress is a little intimidating.

The new Artisan's body pieces are +3 control only (no craftsmanship gains) when fully melded, meh.

That sounds ... horrifically useless. I'm guessing the only benefit is cleaning out the armoury chest.

However the offhand fully melded is a must... 4 star is horrendous right now.

I haven't tried an actual 4 star yet since I'm busy farming BCoB for allagan silk but I'll have a go on the Nana Bear in a bit as practice.

So ... 4 progress steps and 10-13 quality touches. This isn't difficult at all.

Anyone have max meld caps for the new offhands?

the biggest load of shit i have ever seen - penta melded new offhand for armorer - I am 1/27 on the new HQs... I'm going to be bankrupt before I even get 1 new master book..

Any rotation for H.Q Calibrated Rose gold ?

nice would u by any chance like to share your 3star HQ turn in's rotation :) i already fked up 2 synths and it aint cheap, i wanna start making them 4star food :P

I tried a few HQ Calibrated rose cogs. Stats craft 427, control 403, and CP 395. Progress is PbP at the start 264, lot of hasty touch up to 10 stacks but normal at Bygerot't Blessing. Landing me around 5000 quality aka 16%. Finish it off with Steady hand II, ING II, Rapid Synthx3 (160 each) and CSII (77) to finish it. So long as no rapid synth fails I finish the craft but at 16% quality. You would need 10 or 11 stacks with good, excellant or a ton or luck on nomral to HQ this. Going to sleep on this for a few days and switch up the rotation. I think a few other rarely used skills may work here plus I may toss reclaim in as I have over 55 cp after I know what the final quality number is. I might upgrade to the supra tool but an extra 5 control isn't looking like it will do it. I may try running the FC control buff. Thoughts?

Not sure if there is any use knowing because by hook or by crook you need to meld 16 craftmanship on the offhand.

4 star crafting requires 451 craftmanship, and this is achieved by melding 16 craftmanship on the i70 offhand WITH Supra main hand.

The new Artisan pieces aren't much of an upgrade. After melded the nett gain over i55 AF is just +3 control.

Didn't really bother with the gloves and shoes (I have the i60 pants). Concentrated on unlocking quests today, but managed to get Master Weaver II and Master Leatherworker II

To answer my own question: +3 CP, +14 Control, +25 Craftsmanship (from Reddit). Ouch. Seriously, ouch. 4x IV craftsmanship doesn't even max it. I was hoping to avoid getting every supra, but I guess I can't unless I get an FC buff.

I really wish they at least gave us two guaranteed slots on the offhands =\ The body pieces have three slots each instead of the normal two, so why couldn't the offhands have two instead of the usual one?

tried some 3 star HQ turn ins today.

This is truly an RNG filter, is impossible without company buff and artisan set to even aim for the 100% quality here, even like that it probably needs lots of luck. Any touch you fail is terrible, 10 stacks + fully buffed BB on good condition let me at 33%. Is an RNG filter and gil sink for dirty rich crafters, im seriously doubting of the worth of this all.

And for those asking the offhand caps are:

+3 CP
+14 Control
+25 Craftsmanship -> LOL

Probably is smart to go for something like 8 control 15 craft or 18 craft if you want to throw gil away xD!

i put on 4 control and 22 craftsman. (artisan offhand)
Put me at 454crafts and407 control. So i can 4star. But need a decent rotation for the tradein for book.

Does anyone have a rotation that is decent even??? Please post any rotations you have that might help. THX

come on guys, no one has a Rotation for the trade in Items??? I tried the Rotation for the old one and changed some hasty touches in for finishing, but think we will need 3 Step by Steps and 3 or 4 finishers (sorry, don´t know the English name, but think you know what i mean)

I will try to get some fieldcrafts today to try it.

btw. I have all Supras an melded my new Offhand with 3 Control IV Materia´s (was hard but lost only one and all my nerves), with this i have the Stats for 4-Star with Craftmanship-food ;)

figured some stuff out... With the help of friend.
Still going to need alot of luck and reclaims. Going to lose alot as well. But i went 3/8 on hq so not too bad (other 5 being nq not including reclaims)
