i dont see any new "i90"(suspected ilvl of gear to be dropped from new dungeons), so my guess is Myth gear will drop there just as Philo gear did in 2.2. which is dumb imo. but oh well i suppose
Darklight still dropped alongside new stuff though, not as the only thing. If myth gear is seriously the only thing that drops in the new dungeons they basically removed the only incentive I had for running them to begin with which was vanity (Not just these, but 4 mans in general)
I'm rather hoping hunts will grant poetry tomes because dungeons are boring. : \
Can't me more boring than hunts. And at least in a dungeon, I don't have to worry about missing rewards because one person is too impatient. I do hope they actually have some new and useful gear...but honestly my bet is that they'll have some new gear (along with the i90 job gear) but it won't be anything useful compared to Sold gear. Which is too bad, if that ends up being true.
Soldiery still drops from Hunts, so once Poetics is capped (doing Expert Roulette once a day should get you capped within a week), you can just spam Hunts. OR, just do Syrcus Tower :T
I mean, why bother doing the dungeons at all if you're getting nothing worthwhile in between?
Hm ya, this run of dungeons wonder if they did decide to just use the i90 job specific, would be rather lame since the "excuse" is that it takes up so many slots. At least with Darklight you can easily add another set of gear because jobs share the pieces but not with the i90 so maybe that's their reasoning behind it?
At most I can see additional awards being the following:
Satasha HM= Tight-beaked Parrot / Nana Bear
Sunken Temeple HM= Fat Cat / Mummy's Little Mummy
Snowloak= Littlefoot /Assassin Fry
So perhaps they decided rather than add in a sense "glamour" gear, since last update the gear was already outdated within said dungeons they decided to add a minion to each dungeon and rather than listen to removing mats from dungeon chest they decided to increase the amount of materials dropped within chest lol.
Least judging from all items within the game atm, I wouldn't put it past them to add 2 minions to each dungeon, perhaps one gained through final boss and the other through the random chest lying around.
This has me perplexed as well, I've looked over the patch notes quite a few times and nothing jumps out as me as gear for these new dungeons. A Lack of vanity gear from these just pushed them from the front to the back of my priority list :/
i am still gathering my i90 , and now at ilv72 ,as for dungeons i am really not interested cuz i only like doing the low level roulettes and help newcomers pass a dungeon
not everyone does the dungeons. i usually sign in after reset and cap tomes entirely off of hunts, leaving the rest of the week free to do whatever else like crafting and gathering. if the hunts are especially busy in the morning, i could be capped on tomes in just a few hours while also having a stack of seals to spend, also chances at bloody logs. With the frequency that the crafting mats dropped at in hullbreaker, tam tara, and stone vigil, i really had no incentive myself to continue running the dungeons.
Same thing here, now this may be a balmung thing but when i can get 5-800 seals in the course of capping my tomes, why not? Hell, hunts essentially have a higher return then capping out via dungeons. Yes, I could just sell the mats, but the last time i looked at the cost of sherry or water the price was like 1-25 gil.... so it really wasnt all that worth while
so .. only myth gear in the new dungeons?

The new dungeons drop the Myth accessoires, Crafting Mats, set of items that look like gear but aren't (antique breeches/mail/helm/gauntlets/tassets/sollerets) all unsellable unigue and untradable. I have no idee what these will be used for maybe for trading stuff. And in Satasha Hard and Quarn Hard the final Chest will drop a new minion. All these information are in the lodestone database.
Antique is to make the Vintage gear (official name of Myth gear). So... lore isn't ruined but urgh. Why?
The fact that they drop crafting mats in the new dungeons, and the loot tables for the older dungeons weren't adjusted either, is so demotivating. Would rather do hunts in that case. At least I can use the seals for vanity.

New dungeons drop myth gear, or at least Qarn does, Im going to assume Sastasha does too, dunno about the brand new one tho.
New dungeons drop myth accessories (right side) and some green stuff that is unique / unsellable / untradable.
I think we can trade these for the myth gear (left side) we want, that is... IF we want.
It's better than hoping for a piece to drop, specially for Rogue. You can farm dungeons as any class and trade for Rogue lv90 artifact gear.
