Any update on paypal and other payment method being added?

It has been almost a month since the ony option with paypal was removed, I have 10 days left on my sub and I'd like to keep my retainers as well as pay for my sub and there's the cash shop where if I wanted a fantasia I couldn't get that due to no paypal,
y'all are losing paying customers due to 401 error with credit cards and no paypal, please give us an update, thank you.

The other alternative is to get a prepaid CC if your own credit card won't work.
I currently use one and it hasn't failed me yet.

I much prefer to use paypal for payment instead of putting credit card information on every new site I wish to purchase something from, the more times/places you put it, the greater chance for fraud or other such issues.

Any PayPal using site will always direct you to the paypal site to approve the transaction, so you arent having to reenter information all the time. It is a secure site and one i trust.

I could use prepaid time cards but they are a rip off for legacy accounts, cannot get retainers, fantasia, etc.

I could get a prepaid VISA card but again, there are extra charges and fees just to spend my own money.

Get a debit card?

I've had visa debit card with my bank for 7 years now and never had an issue buying anything with it, the one time I'm forced to use PayPal it took 2-3 hours to make a payment. Basically I refuse to touch PayPal again after that fiasco.

That does not exist in Canada.

yeah, the method of payment are really limited.
For people who change country often it is quite a nightmare as they only accept credit cards from the country you currently stay in...

We can hope this gets fixed soon, am I the only one who wants to see paypal added?
My wife and I would love to buy some cash shop items. but, due to no paypal we can't.. unless the cash shop accepts paypal.

I also don't have a credit card and was very disappointed when I found out they took away our paypal option. I don't make much and don't really want to spend more than I have to especially on credit card fees. Some banks in Canada do have the debit visa cards but I think to get them one has to have good credit and my bank does not offer those cards.
So I guess I will no be playing unless paypal returns as an option to pay for crysta.

I really hope they add more. I don't have a credit card and used to use UGC before it was removed. I don't want to use time cards since im a legacy member i'd end up paying more than i need too...

Please for the love of the 12 can we please get a update on adding paypal? My sub runs out in 7 days and I have retainers and I would like to keep them and buy from the optional shop. My wife also paid for her sub using paypal though ultimate pay and she would like to buy from the optional shop as well. I know there is time cards but, that won't pay for retainers,fantasia, and other optional services or optional shop items. Please SE can you give us a update? is paypal still coming?

That's funny. I'm Canadian and my bank definitely issues the kind of card he's talking about.

I for one am all for paypal option. Had them for years and do trust their security. However I think the issue that's maybe slowing things down is the business end of accepting Paypal payments. For each one you accept there is a fee involved if your a paypal business customer. Depends on the method that a person via their paypal account. But imagine a cash shop item costing 5.00 usd. Now subtract a .35 fee from that. And add this up to all the players that use this feature. Same thing is going on for SE taking credit cards but those agreements are already in place. I see it taking some time but nothing like this. Paypal is a very expedient company when it comes to getting stuff done. Id lean towards the slow down on SE side of things more than Paypals. Here's hoping they get it resolved soon.

Don't worry, SE is good a necroing threads to put in relevant information. We know they are working on it so even if the thread dies, PayPal will still be added. Sooner rather than later of course but badgering them wont get it done any sooner.

Thanks for the bumps guys! I hope we get a update soon I saw they got the steam wallet fixed I don't use steam i'm the pc player my wife plays on her ps4 so the steam wallet don't help us. But, its good to see steam users can now pay.
KMarsara I saw you made a thread about paypal to I know how you feel. My sub is up in 6 days. Heres to hopeing we get a update on when paypal is coming. Let your voices be heard (paypal or riot) lol
