I'm enjoying bard more so at the moment though it'll be interesting to see other players playing rog/nin. I'll be looking forward to seeing how they preform.
Nope, still prefer to tear things apart with my bare hands, although I'm still waiting on those invisible Cesti the devs mentioned here on forums a few months ago.../rapidfoottapping
Im hoping it will be just because so far none of the jobs have really clicked with me, and ninja sounds like the sort of job I'd like (though not the whole ninja theme).
Of course it's kind of premature to be making that decision when it's not even released yet. Nobody knows if they'll actually enjoy it or not
Depending on whether I like it after it hits 50 will determine if I make it my main, but chances are from what Ive seen, it will be.
Seeing as to how I can't tank with it, no it won't be my main :p.
Still waiting on Musketeer for my "Main"
Im ready to level up to 50 fast and i hope i enjoy ninja playstyle, i would like to be main ninja. For me, only two jobs could beat ninja as my main job, sam dps and "true smn".
Not unless it comes with more GLAMOROUS and princessy attire than whm.
Dragoon Master Class!! \o/
I probably won't touch it before getting my monk and black mage to 50. Partly because everyone will be leveling it, and I want to be a special snowflake, and partly because I'm afraid I'll love it ;_;
Yes but not until I can do decent dps with it via practising in coil 1-9 and Primal Extremes
It's possible but it will be hard to displace paladin as my favorite. If I find that I can perform well as a Ninja and be of good use to a team, it could become my favorite.
Nope, still using WHM as my main. Get to heal others and I have shorter queue times ;3
Even more so now with everyone jumping on the new DPS class, leaving behind fewer tanks and healers.
Been waiting 428 days for it, so you betcha! Although as a side note, if it was Thief or Assassin, I'd still make that my main.
Stealthy, dual dagger types are best
I have been waiting for a Rogue/Thief class ever since 1.0 so I will definitely be focusing on that straight away! I'm undecided about Ninja. I hope I like it but I'll have to play it before making my mind up about which job will be my main.
How could I possibly know yet? o.O
Dunno ,if its fun and is a good addition to my static ....else i will keep playing BRD , and NIN as alt.
I wanted SMN to be my main in 2.0 .... /sigh
good thing BRD / NIN shares right side :P
Yes, yes!
/10 ninjutsu
I would, but it won't have TH4.....(yeah a test to see how many of you know what I am talking about)

Nope. Not interested in melee classes and even if I were I would not be willing to commit to a class I haven't even played yet.
Gonna be funny seeing how many of the "NIN Main in 2.4" people end up dislike playing the job :)
Nope, I don't like melee classes in this game.
I always enjoy playing healing and supporting roles - so nopes.
I will end up leveling it though so hopefully it's fun to play :) Good luck to all wanting to main it! :D
NIN lifecycle:
1) Everyone is a ROG.
2) Everyone is a NIN.
3) "NIN sucks!"
4) "Actually, NIN is high execution."
4.5) "No, NIN sucks and is underpowered!"
4.6) "Wait, NIN is completely overpowered!"
4.7) "But then that means all the NIN players suck!"
4.8) idk lol.
5) Everyone quits NIN because unlike DRG and BRD you can't pretend you're good at it to coast through most groups.
Possibly.
The reason I have such a huge love for MNK is the high Actions-Per-Minute. Takes a lot of button pressing to keep me interested.
Tie that into the fact that I saved all of my MNK gear, and NIN will share a ton of gear from MNK - it's the Brother from a Different Mother (MNK joke?).
Maybe it will be my new main but gotta see how it'll pan out.
First off all, I'm going to finish the main story for Shiva EX on Tuesday ^-^
Nah, war/pally are my mains...got so much to do as it is..don't really have time for another job, be good to see a new job in the game though, boring seeing everyone playing the same stuff
If it can out-dps my DRG, then sure :)
Maaaaybe.
Hopefully.
Depends if I can get used to the play style and rotation because I can't play drg and smn to do even decent dps
Yeah I've been waiting for a Ninja or Samurai class ever since I found out Summoner isn't a Summoner.
From the looks of it Ninja will be quite a complex job to master in comparison to DRG and MNK in a heated battle. Also it is a Melee job and it seems at least up until now that melee are the minority DPS by a decent margin (Under 5 minutes duty finder wait for MNK, up to 30 for a BRD/BLM/SMN) So if the majority people prefer the ranged attackers not to mention some people prefer healing and tanking. I can imagine a large percentage of people that do pick up Nin will more than likely switch back to their old job just because its simpler or it is not a melee.
Personally I hope to be sticking with NIN if I feel comfortable managing its rotation when I switch to it from MNK. I found all the jobs unappealing to me on release but stuck with MNK up until now. I generally prefer 2 handed weapons but now I know Great Sword is going to DRK and Tank and I gave up tanking a long time ago, it seems I could be Nin for quite a long time.
I really really really want to main ninja however i think i am pigeon holed into tanking forever :/
yes well for now anywayas it will become my main
It's already easier than monk simply because it's slower.
can go up to TH9(native) and now each hit can increase the TH level on the mob (caps @12)

Applying Treasure Hunter:
Treasure Hunter works as a debuff effect on the monster; the player with Treasure Hunter must take some aggressive action against the mob in order to apply the Treasure Hunter effect, after which the effect will remain even if the player is not in the party that kills the mob.
It is possible to apply Treasure Hunter using an AoE attack.
The effect is removed if the mob becomes passive and regenerates.
The effect of Treasure Hunter +1 items are considered and applied after the first enmity generation, and then can be removed even before a "proc".
This effect caps at 12.
Probably, at least until DRK.
I want to be a healer, that is what I like doing generally, but neither of the two healers atm appeal to me. So I will give NIN a go and most likely it will be my "main" until we get a healer job that I like. Hopefully Chemist in 3.0.
I have always mained a assassin type of class or a necromancer, so Ninja might become my new main, but this depends on how the job plays at endgame.
i will make ninja my 3rd main behind monk and scholar thanks to my monk i have i110 gear all ready for ninja before the 2.4 armour kicks in with poetics and there AF :3
