SPY? Musketeer? Yoshi wearing 007 shirt with the golden gun
Obviously Gunner/Musketeer
Just wondering if there was any added significance in the 007 shirt beyond merely having a gun on it. Could it hint at what type of gun wielder we will get. Something stealthy perhaps?
Incoming gun class being healer
Healing bullets incoming!
Everyone thinks gunner is healer -> Yoshi making RDM new healer and surprising everyone. Calling it now.
Just give us corsair already.
Gunner/Assassin is my guess.
Gambler. Because uhhhhh...Casino Royale.
Dunno. Putting extra emphasis on Man with a Golden GUN. Makes it pretty obvious, but seriously, James Bond is not the first that comes to our mind when we say musketeer/Sharpshooter/Gunner/Whatever. The Batman-Dark Knight connection was perfect however. For me JB is more like Gambler or Machinist. And/or Machinist.
I'd associate James Bond with using a lot of gadgets so gadgeteer.
Healing bullets ? I have to try that out
Haha I want a banana gun!
So I just heard on the stream "that was all the announcements for this time". So basically they just laughed a little at those who have been waiting for the gun class/job and went and revealed DRK and said "the sooner than you think gunclass" is coming waaaaaaaaaaaayy later than anyone COULD imagine.
What about simple logic, Corsair as ranged dps/buffer but using both DEX and INT as main stats :), DEX for physical projectiles damages and INT for Wild Cards, it would be the best combo right now :3
Just saying...
Agent 007
FFTA Agent class-> Healer with guns.
http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Agent
How do you see that as a DPS? Looks more like healer/buffer as far as I can tell?
DPS Buffer? His skills are Cover, Buff dmg, Regen, Astra, Libra, Heal, Esna, Buff Crit and 2 dmg skills one of wich slows down the enemy.
That sounds almost exactly like what healers have here, a couple dmg skills with slow down effects and the rest are support/heal oriented.
Reckless Abandon : Longbarrel : Damage and lowers target's Speed.
Aslong with the many buffs that raise damages, for sure it got a regen and a heal but the job itself seems very versatile :p when we think about it, it could actually be both... We will have to wait december to know which way they decided to take with this Agent/Corsair.
(None the less, very nice finding man).
To be fair, Agent was made for FFTA2 as a special character class. All the special character classes get kind of the full package. But Agent was more geared towards support as far as the kit goes compared to the other special classes.(Which were pretty much just damage kits with some support)
Pretty obvious now that whatever the gun class/job is its going to be a healer. Yoshi said a while ago that the gun class isn't going to be what people expect. Well people expected it to he a dps. Now they announce DRK as a tank so that leaves the gun wielder to be healer.
"Omg that's guys hurt, hurry up and shoot him in the face."
They could do ik like other games where instead of shooting bullets, the character shoot some kind mana bullet made from the players aether.
Next job will be a healer, I reckon we are going to see either Chemist or Red Mage (with one hand gun, other hand rapier).
So, it's looking like this
Tank: Dark Knight
DPS: Samurai
Healer: Agent
I really hope that whatever the healer is that it uses TP isntead of mana.
why couldnt it be dancer for a healer a gunner shooting to heal makes no logical sense in any fantasy world really ~_~
Why are people assuming if it's a healer, it must shoot the person?
Um HELLO did no one play Final Fantasy Tactics, one of the best final fantasy's out there with one of the best job systems?
Chemist says hello.
I can imagine its heals to be some basic cast times, and what sets it apart is it has various instant cast heals where they are throwing their potions. They might even have more AoE based heals on the floor that HoT. They can do a lot with Chemist.
gun class is probably chemist which =/= healer
