Yeah, I wouldn't want them to add such a traditional opponent without it being done properly...King Behomoth should no doubt be included as well.

Definitely. I'd love to see KB as a main boss in this game. In XI he was one of the King HNMs but he had no real part in the storyline. Would be cool to see more of KB, as well as some Behemoths around! Would make for a great dungeon :) Though, I also agree they need to take their time with it to make sure it's done right.

This post i really like!!!! Also with the garlean mekaniks let's have some weapons thrown in also, who wouldn't wanna fight an hd omega weaponor even a family of them and with each one they get stronger until we hit matriarc or patriarc weapon! Be friggen awesome

They talk about Behemoths and such in the last quest I did (rank 36 pugilist quest) but they talk about it being in another land (cant remember the name, but I'm sure people know). So yea, Behemoth will be in this game.

The original FF game has it cut.

On the FFXIV collector edition there is a Behemoth drawn in the book ^^.

King behemoth would make a great boss. Now that i think about it tho, seeing behemoths as a regular badass mob would be cool too.

I hope he casts meteor on death and owns the entire alliance :D

No see what will happen is we will be given various outposts to be defended against zergs of monsters in warring time. So many monsters/players that we lag/our draw distance is limited. And there will be a behemoth that will use huge AoE lightning moves that one shot anyone in a massive radius. And for those lucky ones who didnt get obliterated he will use an 8,000+ meteor on your face.

If you can see him, you're already dead. If you can't see him, run.
(Anyone catch my reference?)

Maybe they'll borrow the Behemoth from FF13, and give Garleans giant mechanical Behemoths >.>

I don't want just 1 behemoth, but a whole group on the field. Mini-behemoths for us to do quests & grind on (like in FF10 in Zanarkand). Then of course have bigger, recolored versions for bosses.

Sure behemoths are cool.... but i havnt seen a Iron Giant for a LOOONG time, and they were epic.

Sorry guys.. they had a Behemoth in, but i killed it during Beta, and now I use it as a trophy in my Mog House ;)

But i think it'll come back to Eorzea :)

i hope they bring back the ff12 style behemoths myself. Those were one of my favorites in looks. (the regular behemoths, not that reskinned dragon cop out king behemoth!)

Barring that, the traditional looking behemoths like in FFVI and FFX are nice too. FFXI ones had too many knobby bones and protrusions that made it look a bit awkward.
