24 hour patch

What will YOU be doing during it?

Playing Civilization Beyond Earth of course.

Got a friend visiting from out of state, so it's kind of nice timing.

...Ranking in League of Legends, or back to server management T_T?;

Agonizing because Monday is one of my only regular days off :/ but I'll probably have something to work on for a class, so I'll be keeping busy while thinking about the excitement of new stuff to do.

Watching the last episode of Halloween wars with my kid and catching up on episodes of Parts Unknown I missed.

Crying because I cannot play this game! JK, I will be finishing the Evil Within!

Attempting to knock out some items from my ever growing Steam Library hit list.

Keeping up with Cash Shop wars here and maybe hopping on GW2 for a little bit to participate in some Halloween shenanigans.

Finishing up my FF6 Playthrough, and when that's done, I'll probably play Wild ARMs 2.

I will go see the great orb in the sky.

I put FFVII on my Vita for my Fan Fest flights and started getting into it again. I will most likely play that until XIV is back online :)

Got ffxi to keep me busy till 2.4 is ready

Interesing - what will happen with my garden. I should tend my crops at least once every 24 hours or they die. I will be unable to do this due to patch time.

I'm going to pretend I'm catching up on my endlessly growing Steam backlog. I just finished Just Cause, burnt through main story, now working on Just Cause 2. Really need to play StarCraft2 HotS, and Company of Heroes 2 at some point >_>. My Nexus is suffering from my efforts to catch up. Ordinarily I'd be one of the first to finish the next stage on Zodiac, but this time. I'm only at "indistinct activity" lol.

I'll be working, then at my weekly Tuesday Shadowrun game, so I'm not missing anything here.

Could someone please point me to the source for this "24-hour patch"? As far as I've seen, SE hasn't even dropped the notification on the patch DATE (though we can be fairly certain it's Oct 28th), let alone the time and how long the servers will be down for...

Date was dropped on Sunday at the Live Letter at Fanfest. For notice see here.

Edit: Dammit, ninja'd D: 2.4 isn't even out yet!
