Thinking about joining this server...

Hi everyone,
I'm thinking about coming back to ff14, it's been about 4 months since I haven't played. With the release of 2.4 coming I want to come back to this wonderful game.

I'm currently on the siren server but I'm not enjoying it there, I've been server hunting and 2 server come to mind. This being one of them.

So to the community of leviathan, what makes you enjoy this server you call home & What would you say to get someone to join this server, I'm just on my own playing this game.

I'm on the EST timezone and pepole say this is a good server to join cause of that. I've runned most primals from tanking/dps/healing. Never could get a static group for coils and my guild leader never took me serous when I said I wanted to lead one.

Leviathan always has something going on. EST CST and PST. It's a great server. Tribe Gaming ( Our FC ) has been on Levi since BETA.

Whatever your choice I wish you the best of luck!! :D If you have any direct server Q's I can answer them.

As to why i love the server, simple reason being people are generally helpful. Need help to run a fate, a dungeon, get a rez (hehe) most times people are willing to help. We also have a linkshell that is not specific for our fc that is just there should players need help with something or just to chat

Was wondering if it would be possible for anyone to take a screen shot of the recent sales transactions of the Savage Might Materia IV's. I'm also thinking of transferring here. Trying to get an idea of what the materia market is like.

I wont be transferring until a week after the 2.4 patch, but when I do, I will gladly revisit and even contact you in game when I have more questions about your FC. I thought of another question.

On Excalibur, we have a public teamspeak that is run by volunteers for use during organized hunts. Does Leviathan have something similar in place for people to hunt A and S rank mobs?

Re Teamspeak: nothing to my knowledge.
We have a Linkshell called FE (Freakin Elite) that people join and are freely invited to while hunting. To keep the LS # manageable we ask that you leave the LS after finished hunting and join again through PF when you want to resume hunting. It's very effective.

I just put in a transfer request to Leviathan. I'll be looking for a new FC home as well.

Welcome to Leviathan, we have many good FCs out there, take some time to get to know them before jumping around finding the "right porridge"


And what Sharess said about the FE Linkshell is right, I use it quite regularly , bout twice a week given on mood. I have never had any issues minus some early pulls and slow ls invites from time to time, but all that can be resolved easily when some people decide to really lead for that day and we go through a very smooth multi hour kill cycle.

What kind of FC are you looking for? IF you are looking for a NA based FC with a 7/10 attitude with raiding and progression I would recommend hitting up Tribe and checking out how we manage. I'm looking for an FC that has a decent number of members, is active, has fun, but also likes to run content. I'm up to T8 (only been in one learning party so far) in terms of SCOB. I'm not hardcore in terms of raiding, but I'm not casual either. I've also beaten all the EX primals.

I'm an i110 WHM and SCH, i109 BLM, i107 SMN and have a lower geared BRD at i91. I'm also a rank 40 in PVP.

Based on what you've posted I would encourage you to check out Tribe. :)

When you place yourself in the PF for FE invite, or even a shout out in zone for a invite, someone will snag you into their group and usually within moments (depending on whats going on) you get the Linkshell invite as well.

Once you are done with the hunts for the time, regardless if you plan to come back in a few hours the same day, you remove yourself from the linkshell, this keeps it nice and clean for us overall and thus removing the need to have multiple linkshells of it.
