Found a pic of the Viangaa
V true :D I ve just seen the trailer for Heavensward on the livestream :o wow
That new race was a joke indeed. If you watched the stream, you could see how a big, fat red cross appeared right on top of the picture they showed.
I'm not that hyped yet. I will probably next week when they talk more about the new jobs and hopefully about the job system (if they keep the current one). Looks like 3.0 is gonna be huge.
Just watching the freestream never seen the cross :( I m not interested in new races just can`t wait for more ff :D
Multiple jobs = 2 jobs... Don't get your hopes up more than that.
2 jobs plus ninja is still more than we got right now though. I just hope one of them is a tank job of some sort.
My bet is on Samurai & Chemist (Musketeer>Chemist), hopefully Dark Knight also.
I feel the tank/healer will be related to Ishgard lore in some way.
For tanks I imagine it could potentially be a heavy shield main hand user maybe focused on the idea of fortification to boost their defense and then using said fortification to provide effective dmg mitigation AOE effects to those around them.
The healer class I get the vibe that Ishgard could of dabbed into the idea of being one with the dragons in a more peaceful manner that granted them with magically/supportive attributes. Since one could say the Lancer/Dragoon concept is one of brute force and strength, the Draconian would be a class (taken from FF tactics) that was in harmony with the Dragons and with said Harmony they gained special magical skills to allow them to support allies as well as offensive "breath" attacks perhaps one posessing a DoT, one for Damage and one for an enfeebling effect with a potential tier II for the DoT and dmg dealing one.
If they are releasing more classes such as if musketeer is going to remain as a DD but then again they did say Musketeer might not be what players expected which goes down two roads. Musketeer/Engineer and Musketeer/Chemist, I can see Chemist being a TP based healer class that uses elemental charges to build up the ability to use support concoctions on target party members and heal. Their main gimmick could be the ability to empower their own regen based skills and provide dmg mitigation through the concoctions they can make.
DARK KNIGHT CONFIRMED.
