Rogue: Three Little Letters

So every class/job has a three letter abbreviation. Unlike FFXI, the class is no longer Thief (THF) and is now Rogue, so what shall the abbreviation be?

Choices are:

ROG
ROU
ROE
RGU
RGE
RUE

Personally I think ROG will be the most likely candidate, if we go by current conventions. Of course Ninja will still be NIN as well, I'd think. :3

It'll either be ROG or RGE, most likely

Maybe when the "rouge" class is released :P

But for now I think Rogue will be ROG or RGE (rog moreso)

It will be ROU.

Because most people can't read or write.

My 1 gil is on 'RGE' for Rogue... but then I've never been a gambling kitty so I expect to lose that gil. ;)

Following the basis that most if not all the abreviations are phonetically similar to the full name it will be ROG

Nah it will just be NIN cause 50 is all that maters.

I hate when there's a rouge class. They're always overpowdered.

RGE hands down, 100%, no questions asked.

Hopefully they will be smart enough to have structured the Rogue class so that at 30 it can branch off into an eventual Thief, and not just feel like a slightly different flavour of ninja. I feel like the "Class --> Job" format in general is not really doing what it was originally intended to do, sometimes. THM is just Black Mage in Training. CNJ is just Not White Mage Yet. PUG is Monk Jr. Almost every class just goes directly to one job. Why do jobs even exist?

I have to ask this, does it even matter with it being a class over a job? Nobody references the classes in this game and the concept of a rogue will disappear along with the other classes in the game in favor of job referencing.

That's funny considering marauder is the best class\job in the game...

ROG is the only one.

RGE too much like Rage.

Others don't even come close.

Don't worry, I'll call it "双剣士" and Ninja :D

Probably RGE to avoid confusion with certain foreign language words and abbreviations.
