Last night I did my first party. It was great. We farmed some raptors and in a matter of maybe 2 - 2.5 hours I went from barely 32 to half way through 33. My question to everyone is why even bother with levees, behests, or solo grinding. I don't think I will ever solo again. I think I have seen the light. No idea why I tried to play solo for so long.

its a ton of fun, you make new friends, it builds a community because no one wants to PT with a dickhead.. dickhead's either shape up or find other dickheads to play with.. its the way FF games are meant to be played.

lol someone did not play FF11 lol. but yea behests and leves are for solo play. FF11 main problem was if you were a job no one wanted you could not rank up because no one would invite you. And the only way to rank up was grind parties in FF11 Now with behest and leves at least you can rank up pretty fast is you are a loljob or if you can not find a party.
It is also if you do not have much time. options are key to great game so we must keep options alive. limits and restrictions are not fun. i hope more people understand this. -

Leves and Behests are not supposed to compete with grind parties... that was what the problem was BEFORE 1.18.
You are supposed to be able to do those kinds of things when you don't have the time to fuss around with setting up a party and grinding for a few hours. -

I don't want to rank up too fast nor too slow but this seems that for me. -

Soloing should be 3-4h, partying half that. Otherwise there's no point. -

Levelling is at a much better pace now than it used to be. -

I wasn't leading the grind party but we were killing constantly, not dieing, and the only downtime was traveling. I guess it could be higher at other camps with less traveling but I didn't see any obvious mistakes. Although, i'm in no position to judge.

Skill point rewards have been increased for Disciple of War and Magic-specific regional and faction levequests, as well as behests. The increase will vary depending on the quests’ recommended class rank, with those recommended for class 20 seeing the biggest change.
Shield skill points are now awarded upon the completion of regional leves, faction leves, and behests.
mmm anyway do leves with party and you could got more exp now, after 1.18a more more sp :) -
