Want to Upgrade from a Small to a Large House but the process is crazy... please help

"You must remove furnishings"
"You cannot remove the chocobo stable if there are chocobos in it"
"You must demolish all private rooms before vacating"

How are we supposed to do this with offline members? Just kick them all and reinvite them later? C'mon SE!

If it's one of your regulars then you should be able to get them online. If it's someone you have not seen in a while you can kick them and their stuff will end up at an NPC in the wards.
It's basically a failsafe to keep peoples hard earned items from all vanishing. I don't think anyone has tried to do housing in the manner they are attempting which is basically unsustainable on some servers and they are just patching it together till they figured out a more streamlined process.

It would be nice if you wanted to upgrade for your housing information to save to the server so that you could call it up whenever. Like for the personal rooms and the information within them could be transferred to another house.

Maybe the housing system just needs an upgrade system or something. And when you have fully upgraded to a bigger house then you put your old house back up on the market. I hope this could be implemented in some way, it is scary to lose everything you've worked hard on because of the way the system is now.

I'm not worried about people losing stuff, I know that won't happen and it shouldn't happen. I just think it's obnoxious I can't remove the stable without removing their chocobo and I can't vacate the house without demolishing their rooms. Can't do either of those things without kicking them. There is no "demolish X player's room" or "remove X player's chocobo option" and there should be.

Hmm. Now I've removed the house and can't seem to vacate the land. Suggestions?

This function, if implemented is a way people can bully new members or old members, bullies are bullies. People generally are not considerate of others and a function like this should never exist because it is unfair on FC members with no moderation powers.

Only the leader would have it. The leader can kick the person to same effect so not sure what the difference would be...

LOL, definitely first-world problems but still... :)

Also you need inv/ret space to put all your furniture from the old house in while you move.
The game needs a mover service - pay however much gil and they'll pack and move all your stuff to your new abode, including private rooms. Minimal breakages. Recommend some insurance etc.
