Wolves Den PVP - Aether players, where are you?

I miss you guys :( Please start queing in wolves den (50s) so i can have fun again.

Hell no, I hate Wolves' Den. The only reason I stomached that was to get my PvP level as high as I can before Frontlines came out, then play Frontlines only.

Try arena 50 ilvl 80...

Yeah lol, im still around.... waiting on the que that never pops. You still PVP at all?

On Odin we have a linkshell with 30 players. We organize some matchs and we can arena 2 h / day with instant proc :)

I do frontlines(twin adders team) but its not the same as great WDs matches. Who knows what SE will do to ressurrect WD again lol

The only Wolves' Den queues I can get are lvl 30 SCH queues. Makes me sad.

Make Den marks for new gear, or something lame like that. I'm not sure if they have it in them to truly fix wolves den. Not to mention the rank/matching system takes too long accompanied by the 2minute wait once inside (because we always talk strat with randoms: - focus healer, - focus blm)

2.4 patch. New pvp rank.

I've qued for every bracket almost every day when i sit there not doing much and all I see are level 30 or 40 que pops. Everyone in it is usually new... Not like the old days :(.

I don't understand why wolves den was not liked.

Yea i don't understand either, i'm usually qued for everything aswell but it rarely pops and when it does its all noobs. I just assume i'm the only one queing for wolves den now. Maybe wolves den is too competitive or fast paced and that's why people don't like it. It's a mystery. Just hope all you guys come back out for 2.4. I'll be rocking that ninja!!

lol zero we going busy again 2.4 new ranks (Ques going get even worse) maybe new gear lol i aint wasting my gil on my pvp gear this time to get fked over to not even use it in Frontlines. Jut going use pvp materia.
They need to put the ques back to what it was when it now hit. Yeah we had to claw our way through the players that would have been ahead of us but when finally getting that gear u couldve finally be on par with those players and it was hella fun. Frontlines killed the den and mostly every1 who plays Frontlines thinks "Their the shit" till they stepped foot in the den.
I remember a few weeks ago i ran into some premades in the den i never saw before but they had pvp gear yet they sucked i carried the team even with i90 pve healers lol. Only thing frontlines good for is for lvling thats it. No skill required in there its just a zerg fest.
All they need to do is put the ques back to what it was when pvp 1st came out in the den and everything would be great again. Also most of the good den players had quit by now lol. Maybe just maybe 2.4 den might get revived.

Lets bring the den back with this patch

den is just too quick and dirty for most, include the long queues and matchmaking system and it's pretty much done

I would be willing to host a ts server for all pvpers on aether, in which we can set up cross realm queues in wolves den. A show of hands would be nice so I can know who would be interested in this

Yeah a few of my ls mates told me they read a thread about that! I'm from balmung lol but I might be able to use my FC's personal ts so we can get this going so just keep letting me know through a this thread :)

And that's exactly part of the reason why Den died. The disparity between newbie and regulars is just too much before you even factor in the mess that is morale gears. Noobs are hated and get steamrolled all day before they can learn to hold their own. The matching system is also a joke and drove more people away.

The "veterans" can talk it up about how great Den was all they want, but they are as much of a problem as SE. You have people saying oh stop doing frontline and come do Den where the pros are at. Fine, the newbies grind their way up to get pvp gears in frontline and go do Den like Yoshi suggested. Then they get made fun of by people like that guy a couple posts up about how they are noobs despite having pvp gears. I've seen this behavior multiple time in the forum AND in game. Gee if I was a newbie who's interested in doing Den and read this thread, I probably would just stick with frontline instead.

Personally, I would only touch Den again if they implement an actual ranking system with exclusive rewards (glamors, pets, etc, don't need no more stupid morale gears to break the balance) separate from frontline.

i gave up on pvp when i saw what they did to my pentamelded gear. SE always doing shit

Come on man. You can still wear your gear. You can still tell people how you had the gear when it was the highest rank. If you always want the highest gear and to be able to be the strongest... Play an offline multiplayer game. P2P MMOs will always be changing. Accept that. ^^

New people probably would complain anyways about all your gear and isn't it more fun to fight someone on equal ground with similar great as then it becomes a battle of skill or do you just like seeing how much your gear can decimate other people?

Just like you ish I wasted tons of money on my gear as well but the change doesn't bug me as much as I thought it would. I would however rather do wolves den than frontlines. Out data center has a lot of skillful pvpers it would be sad for our community to go to waste over changes that we all may not agree with. As for a certain pvp day, that would be something I would like to get everyone's opinion on.

I will not be on this weekend, but during the weekdays, can we please get some matches together?

Any day is fine wite, if you guys got a KIK or any kind if messenger that we can contact each other so we can meet up in TS and set up matches. I encourage everyone that's into pvp to give this a shot, if the Japanese do this with success I don't see why we can't. :).

I'm on Goblin server, im constructing a LS for rank 40s only have about 14 members so far, but yes we do indeed need the community on Aether data center to que for the den within the next couple weeks, the weekly XP bonus scales with your rank, and we truly dont want to see that large chunk of Xp go down the drain do we? if you can muster the fervor to que at prime time around 8 pm est, from now until monday night (thats when my raid starts back up for the week ;P) thank you all again, Hero Kun from goblin server signing out :)
