Do you think that Yoshi will give the ability to change our relic from two handed staff to a one handed staff and shield? I prefer the one handed weapon for both class because it looks better. Even though the shield will be kind of be weak (i've blocked about 15% of damage on my BLM) i think it should be an option.
If not give more options of one hand weapons and shield at higher levels.
What do you guys THINK of this idea? Nay or Yay :D

Myself, as WHM, I prefer Two-handed staff, I like to have a big weapon, I'm like this (on a prefer game, was playoing a Slayer with a greatsword for exemple)
But yeah, more choises whould be nice, nut it's hard to make it balance. -

That would be awsome for WHM at least. I just don't prefer 1handed weapons on BLMs. But I think that if whm/blm gets new "relics" the other jobs should get new weapons too with a diferent design.

Having a wand and a buckler would be awesome for WHM :D. So old school FF. A flute like Eiko in FF9 would be a pretty cool relic for WHM too.

There's a huge advantage if it's crafted; twice as many materia slots. But crafted weapons with full melds will never be as powerful as a top weapon from 2 major patches back.

I imagine if they did, the stats would work like the Paladin's relic - just spilt them between the two. Although its a shame so many shields clips with the WHM relic robe xD -

Options are always nice. If they did it with relic weapons though, it'd have to be done with the lore in mind (perhaps Gerolt put his own spin on the relic weapons or whatever). That being said, even if they can't do this retroactively, it would be nice if they considered having this type of option for weapons going forward. At the very least, allow 1h to be glamoured over 2h.
