For those of us who are always working on the next atma, or just taking it slow on one, the inventory spaced used by these things is crazy. Can we have atmas stored in the key items bag please? and thank you :)

I agree this needs to be a thing.
yes please
Very much yes please. Its a main reason I haven't finished bothering trying to collect ATMA, I don't have the room for it :/
yes please inventory management is hard enough with glamours, crafting mats let alone atama stones and their copies
It may not happen as long as they sell additional retainers :/
Agreed, it seems really out of place to have them with the standard items. First time I got the message saying I got one it took me forever to find cause it was literally the last place I looked. I'd figured it would show up as either a key item or tracked in a log somewhere lol.
Atma are not unique and only 1 tab in key items, more people would rage about not being able to get atma's because Key items is full (not saying they will all be atma but all those other quest items that sit in the key item slot)
I believe "Key Items" consists of three tabs.
It not going to be a Key Item because you can get an infinite amount of Atma. If it were to be a Key Item, you'd only be able to get a single set of 12 max.
Every atma is different so to make them stackable you wouldn't know which atma you have and which one you still need. Also if it's a key items you could only hold one of each at a time and not get multiples until you finish the weapon. Im halfay through my atma I'm getting for ninja. It would suck that if I wanted to do another atma weapon b4 ninja is released (which I did plan on) that I would have to turn in all 12, forcing me to farm another 12, which I probably won't have time to finish b4 ninja comes out since my overall atma average is one every 72 fates.
They should give us an atma pouch with the quest, the key item inventory is limited, so not a good idea.
Also, fishing tackle box.
There is so much crap that should be in key items.Just to name a few. Would also be nice to have a section for fishing bait.
- Atma
- Alexandrite
- Venture Tokens
- Fate Trade in items (beast tribe)
- Jandelaine's token
- Zodiac Glass
FINALLY SOMEONE MADE A POST!!!! This needs to happen like yesterday
Really? It's 12 slots. Stop being a hoarder.
The FATE trade-in items are key items. (Unless you were referring to the beast tribe trade-in items from FATE bosses)
I agree that the Zodiac Glass should be one too.
Atma, not necessarily, but they should be stackable I think. As it stands right now, you can't stack two of the same type, which is quite silly.

Alexandrite and ventures are fine IMHO. Jandelaine Tokens have such little value and are so few and far in between that I personally don't care if they aren't changed, honestly.
sooo in summary. Atma in key items, make each type of atma stackable. So you only need 12 spaces in key items.
I can't imagine key items ever being full. I have all but 3 classes to 50, there are only 3 quests left in the world, (all related to extreme modes) and I've never had more than 10 key items at any point in time.
When you get around to leveling your crafters and gather's maybe you will understand. I have 4 retainers ALL full. And I seldom have more than 20 slots open in my personal inventory. I craft for my FC, for newbies, and for money. I have no intention of going out to gather every time I need something. So this is not hoarding. Its supplies and time management.
I instantly vendor / MB any spare materials I have that are sold by common NPC vendors, as most market prices are in or around the same range. Saves stress and doesn't cost too much time, since the FC house and Beast Tribe vendors take care of a lot of the annoying ones (like ingots and cloth and so-forth). I do this the same and have all crafters almost to 50, and even with one dedicated to food and leather, I still have half my 4th retainer empty for furniture.
Nah I don't keep items I'm not using. If you have 4 retainers full of stuff it's because you are keeping things you are not likely to use simply because you feel you -might- use them at some point. You don't need stacks of low level crafting materials when your crafters are at 50. Sell it/trash it. If you disagree, then no amount of inventory space will ever be enough to support your needs.
There are several restrictions for items that are classified as event items or key items. How players obtain these items is one of those restrictions. Since atma is an item that you obtain upon completing a FATE, it uses a special system, so it would be difficult to transform it into an event item. For now, there are no changes planned. Should anything change, we’ll be sure to let you all know.
Also, I’ve passed along the desire to have atma of the same type stack in your inventory as well.
I don't keep things I don't use. I don't keep things that can be bought on a vendor. (rank 8 all tribes) I synth all raw materials once per week, since I use them all at least that often. I spend the majority of my time crafting things for other people and the rest is spent gardening and gathering. Just because I am a master crafter doesn't mean I don't continue to help other people. So in addition to all the normal level 50 materials, I have to have a whole new set of materials for 3 star. Add to that: tokens, atma, marks logs, oils, sands, demimateria, oaknots, ventures, materia, seeds, soil, and now rare untradable dyes. So I don't even have space to store vanity items.
oh and bait... :/
Why would it need to be an event item? It just needs to be a key item so it can go to that inventory tab. Drops use a special system, so the item can't be a special item...? Idek what to make of that. Idek what to make of this reply.
Stacks would be awesome though, thanks for that. Though I do wonder why nobody seems to have thought of it...
And yes, for the love of Menphina, increase the drop rate already please. It's high time.
He's saying that they are currently a FATE item, like the Titan Mithrilshields and Kafre's Tusk that you get for Beast Tribe quests. These items are all treated the same, there are no FATE obtained items that are treated as Key items so they would have to implement an entirely new system to separate the two obtainment methods and identify them differently. So it's a lot more work than just changing the definition of the item.
Would most certainly be great if these items would fall in the key item category. The game is overloaded with items enough as is.
