Focused Gamers is a semi-hardcore multi-game community committed to real-life players having a fun, engaging gaming experience. Focused was originally founded in March 2011 by Nyieve and has a diverse history of different MMOs throughout the years.

The FFXIV:ARR division of Focused currently resides in a large house at The Goblet, Ward 1 Plot 13.

Everyone in Focused is very helpful and nice! Even if you can not raid due to RL they wont hold it against you! I have not felt more at home than with these group of people in FF14.

If it weren't for these guys, I would not be where i am today. They have helped me geared ever since I transfered to this server are a friendly group of people.

Focused Gamers is such an amazing FC. I have played this game since beta and have been in countless linkshells, but none of them even compare to FG. I quick playing the game back in May because the linkshell and people I played with only helped themselves. I started playing in July and decided that I needed a world transfer. One of my friends switched to Behemoth so I followed, not expecting much of a different experience than on Midgarsormr. Man was I wrong. I joined FG the day I started playing again and was instantly drawn back into the game. FG made FFXIV fun to play again (at least for me). I was even determined to gear my DRG out and beat SCOB. Here I am, 3 months later, and I still could not ask for a better free company. Kudos to you FG for being awesome.

I've been playing FFXIV since beta phase three, but I've only been in Focused for about two months. It's the fourth FC I've been in; the first disbanded, the second one had a bunch of drama, and I had some personal issues with some people in the third… so when most of my friends left it to join Focused, I followed suit. I'm really happy with it; it's extremely well organized, and I've made some pretty awesome friends through it too. There's always someone willing to help you out with whatever you need or to direct you to someone who can. There's a real sense of community here and I just feel right at home when I log in.

Even though I am recruiting, I would like to say that I am very proud to be a Focused Gamer. These days, there are guilds that focuses on the "gaming" aspect but never really the "player" portion. What makes games enjoyable is playing with people that are welcoming, informative, and just wants to plays with people. Focused Gamers offers this.

When I was a nub in FFXIV, I joined two free companies prior to Focused. The first was so massive, no one knew each other and didn't bother with people starting out. The second company was a lot smaller, more focused on being a static group which broke.

I joined Focused through a friend and been in it for almost a year now. Although some of our members have moved on to new games, we still play those new games together and in constant contact through our teamspeak, website and facebook page.

Hi, I'm actually considering a server transfer due to the fact the one I'm currently on is dead at my playtimes. This server is the top pick currently. I gotta ask how is your late night player base? I would hate to transfer to only be in the same boat. I am an ilvl 104 war with novus and an ilvl 106 blm with experience up to turn 7. I just want a FC with active people around my times and to actually progress. I'm also a fairly laid back person who loves to joke around and hates drama.

What are your times? We have a lot of players in PST/EST Time. We also have a few European and Oceanic Players. At the moment, some of our players are waiting for 2.4 Patch so they are taking their mini vacations before the hard grind. Our FC is more community based and not really a static based - however, our members have outside statics with other FCs and may know if there is a tank spot open for you. Even if you don't join our FC, Behemoth has a lot of Aussies and European players as well for you to play late night/morning. It's a pretty huge server.

Well a good community is vital to have a good time and my playtimes are Monday through Friday 3 am to roughly 8 am and weekends are variable.

If its EST time, we have about 4-5 people that play during those times ( they are Oceanic and European). Not sure how you feel about that. I believe some of the other guilds that play during that time a lot is Last Bastion and Unreal Aussies - if looking at an EST perspective. I suggest maybe create an alt and test the FCs here to see how you like it.

I don't mind playing with anybody as long as they aren't assholes lol

They are really nice and our guild leader, Jericho Quinn is on that time as well. He's working on expanding the player base in his time zone (Oceanic). Hello there players of Behemoth! I've been in this FC for about 2-3 weeks now.
Ok, bet you are going to ask, "what do you think of the FC, Focused Gamers?" Coming from another server, just to be in this FC...well it's AWESOME! I have to give Rubies props for inviting me to FG! The player community in this FC is great! Being part of FG has actually made me put in more hours into the game, enjoying every single second of game-play. Especially when you are playing with a very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun community of gamers!! =)

Hi there :) My boyfriend and I are trying to find a new FC to call home. We are currently on Leviathan but are more than willing to transfer. We are looking for a fun and active FC that helps each other, doing Primals or Coil or what have you. We are super excited for 2.4 and especially the expansion! We've fallen a bit behind on 2.3 content due to timing/scheduling conflicts with our current FC (which is no one's fault) and we've sorta just been floating around since. We want to enjoy the game and I believe that we need to find a solid group of people to party with in order for that to happen.

I'm mainly WHM/SCH and I have some experience in T6. He is mainly DRG and can SCH, with some experience in T7. We are interested in raiding but it is not our #1 priority at the moment. We just want to find a great group of people to enjoy this game with. :D

Seems like Focused is as diligent as always. I have been with Focused since it began. It began on a notion that gamers were more than just names you slap on a roster. Those names had people attached to them behind the pixels, that love what they do, being a gamer. Focused has always looked for passionate gamers that are also standout individuals. We can easily say we have been blessed to ride the waves of our initial goals that have turned into tides of committed, fantastic gamers that is this gaming community. Focused in short is a wonderful FC that houses amazing players that are always willing to help. Our figureheads in our community will always be on hand to help out with things. We strive to help our members and help the Behemoth community. So far, we have taught about 9-10 members/other FC mates T9 and they have downed it! (we teach members the mechanics to help Behemoth progress server wide) \O/. While we are semi-hardcore in raiding, we value helping people and making fun memories!
