Hello all,
I heard there was a live letter sometime around 11PM PST tonight 9/20. Does anyone have a link to twitch etc to see the live letter? I didn't see any Lodestone post except for the past LL Q&A.

The information is in the TGS topic.
Only NicoNico, maybe?

yeah... that a bit hard on the rest of the community...
The one for 2.4 is tomorrow >__>; I don't know how to use nico for live streams...

Looks like it'll only be nico nico tho. I'll definitely be expecting some translations along the way though. If not after.
The one later today is Eorzean Census, the one tomorrow will be sneak peek of 2.4
Thanks all!
i'm the only one to feel a bit left out by this choice... not enough to not get a real translation from the live, now they only do it on nico nico.... i means, damn, it's like the rest of the world don't count... it's not some small information that they gonna give, but the info about the 2.4.... well maybe we don't deserve to have this information.
ps: and don't come to tell me they are japanese, they do it in japanese... nintendo is too japanese, they still work them ass for give information to the whole world... not only via some QA translate on a forum, but with video subs and stuff like this.
This is really disappointing. At least when it's mirrored on youtube I can look at the pretty pictures and ogle Foxclon. Now I've got nothing. Anyone know of a place keeping up with this? Screen grabs of the stream or key points of interest notes?
not always, but it's true, however them pdg in america try to do announcement too... they don't simply talk to the japanese, they really try hard to give information to the whole world.
with FF14, a lot of people around the world deserve to get the information in a better way than a translation of the QA on the forum.
that what i'm pointing... we are left out. it happend way too often now.
All livestreams both ongoing and scheduled on niconico are in the "live" tab at the top, or if your language settings are in JP, "生放送". Assuming the stream itself isn't region locked, regular users only have a small time window (usually the first 2-5 minutes if the stream is going to get a lot of user traffic already) to get in and stay in while premium users can get in any time they want. Scheduled live streams are in the "Upcoming" or "未来の注目番組" box.
Just go through the pages in that box, the link for the Square Enix TGS live stream is hard to miss. But it's not open to the public yet so you can't exactly camp in it to "reserve" your seat right now anyways :P
Maybe they had to follow rules set by TGS. TGS probably only allows livestream from niconico . Ign is there as well and they are not streaming. Compliance rules exist for companies. They don't follow the rules they get fined millions.People should stop jumping to conclusions and think from a company stand point.
The stream will only appear when broadcasting unlike YouTube and twitch. Just click on the link on the lodestone at the good time ( 14:15 Japan standard time ) and you'll be good.
That's most likely the case, yes. Square Enix is only in control of what content they present at their panel, but TGS is the one who streams it all. If TGS only streams on niconico, then all of the companies showcasing at TGS have to stream only in niconico as well. It would be out of line for SE to stream outside of niconico for TGS exclusive content because SE has no say in that.
SE isn't the only company at TGS, so complaining that they aren't streaming outside of niconico is ridiculous.
I have to say it's probably not the greatest idea TGS has come up with considering NicoNico is the only major streaming service that bullies you into getting a Premium account to not get constantly booted off a stream. Watching parts of the 14-hour stream on there was brutal (side events were only streamed on Nico).
