Red Text _-_

Does anyone know how to make it so this red text doesnt show up when spamming skills and what not?

A feature has been added for disabling the display of battle-related error messages that appear at the top of the screen.
To turn off these messages, disable the “Display error messages when actions fail” option under Character Configuration -> Log Window Settings.
* Messages affected by the “Display recast timer error messages” setting are also affected by this new setting.

The complete list of messages affected by this setting is as follows:
Not yet ready.
Target is not in range.
Cannot use yet.
Cannot use while casting.
Not enough HP.
Not enough MP.
Not enough TP

Read the notes.

I believe the recent patch added a setting for this now. Check the patch notes.

Out of curiosity, when would the not enough hp message come up?

He told you specifically how to disable them. Not sure if it hits "invalid target", but did you try?

Yes I tried, the above red text is not part of the "options" which is why it remains. Also there is one that says "cannot use outside of pvp" if you use a pvp skill.. outside of pvp.

Don't mash on skills that require you to be targeting an enemy when you're just messing around?

Yes, don't spam skills. Patiently wait for your cooldown expire.

In my defense, the image did not display when I posted that.

Additionally though, the pvp skill error and no target error are pretty important, unlike the cooldown and so on. They may have simply been overlooked though.

Doing that will result in a pretty big loss of dps. You should always be queuing your next ability when the GCD is almost done. And hitting it a millisecond too early happens often enough, to me anyways.
