Noxus!? Already!?

So I'm walking around Mor Dhona when lo and behold a Gladiator with a Noxus Curtana & Shield is sitting next to the book vendor. Is the grind for Noxus really that short that it's possible in half a day?

I'm pretty sure you're mistaken there and it's Novus you've seen. I've seen pictures of maybe a few people that have hit the 10% done mark, but they grinded constantly since the servers came up.

They were a very vibrant yellow if that's any indication. I don't personally have the Curtana Novus so I don't know what it's glow looks like.

EDIT: Yeah, I was mistaken, especially since it's "Nexus" and not Noxus.

Yes, Curtana/Holy Shield Novus is yellow.

Yah the Nexus Sword and Shield are a very bright white.

Though make no mistake, there are Nexus weapons out there already. Made by people who have long forgotten what the sun looks like.

Since I spend a good amount of my time with this game (at least my Girlfriend states), and being to less than 10% by now, i don´t get it...
I had a DRG doing even his second Novus to Nexus... (even a second Novus seems so insane to me)

This must be truly some sort of #NoLife ... i wonder what would happen to those people if we shut down Electritcity for 1 Day... will they melt in sunlight when they step out?

For the twelves' sake, Nexus is nothing compared to Atma-Animus and the mythflox nonstop.

I've started grinding on Wednesday, I've got a day job, I live with my girlfriend and of cos do what normal couples do. Went out the whole day on Saturday to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and went out with friends for a meal on Sunday and I got my Nexus on Sunday itself.

All you need is a LS, better still, try to party up with competent people. For me I farmed mostly with the same peeps with the same play time and pace, people in some random pug need 4-4:30 to kill a Levi HM where it took us between 3:05 to 3:15. Have some chit chat and jokes if you are feeling tired or bored and the grind would be over.

Let´s do some Math, according to Reddit.

Primal (HM) | Base: Gentle (2), Bonus: Bright (4)

Thats 2000 / 4 = 500 HM Runs in Bonus window
500 * 4 Minutes = 2000 Minutes / 60 = ~ 33 Hours...

Considering this Content being out for a week by today (lets calc with 6 days, Happy Birthday btw), that would be ~5.5 Hours a day NonStop Killing Primal HMs... (not taking into account Going in and Out of that Instance, finding the Bonus windows, and people needing to pee, make coffee or whatsoever) - Calc it with 3 Minutes, still 4 Hours a day...

Now we take to account, an average worker does 8 Hours a day working, 8 a day sleeping... (not taking into account driving to or from work, overtime, showering, etc... ) left with >50% of freetime dedicated to a single repetive task. And people complaining about assembly-line work ^^

Whatever, I decided to do this content as the Dev´s probably intended after the grind complaints -> getting it done by enjoying everything the game has to offer ;-)

Which what I want to say is, even so it is not difficult. You only get this grinding thing once in a while. Calling them a derogatory term "no life" just because he decided to, and have the luxury to just spend this little amount of time once in a while to get it as soon as he can, is just abit.. erm okaycan for me.

I'm not angry but it does irk me a little because it is really nothing. Just 2-3 days camping at home maybe, that's really not too bad - compared to those who might be camping at their computers for weeks and maybe even a few months on certain Korean games... maybe those chaps fits that description more. :p

wicked can we subtract 6 days by 4 and make it 2 :P
