Frontline Achivment Reward

Ok, let try this again.

If one day S/E put into the following rewards to the Frontline PvP achivements:

Full set of Cloud Strife custome (AC version, available for all genders) for 500 Frontline Victories as Flames
Full set of Seriphoth costume (available for all gender) for 500 Frontline Victories as Twin Adders
Full set of Tifa (AC version) cosutme for 500 Frontline Victories as Malestrom.

FF7 AC Cloud Strife bike as mount for 1000 matches participated.

For those who dont PvP, would you start trying and which GC would you play for?

Ps. The idea is to flush people out of Malestorm because they are hoarding

Rofl man id spend day and night pvping moreso than I already pvp. Even with the shitty combat system I still enjoy putting my foot on someones throat.

Id def start trying to win right now i just do whatever unless im with friends. And you already know maelstorm.

Tifa if, and only if, it was Advent Children costume. I don't like her original one. And I'd probably get it on an alt. Don't think it'd be that great on a Lalafell.

Also I technically PvP as I've gotten rank 40 already, but... I've mostly stopped since. Just because other things are taking up my time.

Also, nope. PvP is just... not fun. I'm sorry to bring reality into this, but the PvP here is about as vibrant as a moth. It lacks substance, and it lacks flavour. We have two modes: Beat the crap out of the enemy team and 'Capture this point'. It adds almost no new mechanics, nothing fresh to the table and relies on combat mechanics designed purely for dungeoneering, not nuking your fellow Roegadyn.

Maybe sometime in the distant future when they've added something fun to the mix I'll reconsider my position in the matter. But honestly, I don't think any amount of praying can save PvP in this game. It's just not built for it.

Does this costume include a new hair style? Because I'd be sorely tempted to switch factions if I could earn Sephiroth's hair....

Out of those three, I'd actually want the Tifa costume most, but I doubt whatever they'd come up for male characters would be worth getting (Just look at Guardian Corps vs Bohemian sets...)

Regardless of PvPing, I would rather SE keep out items like these. I don't want to play FFVII or any other game for that matter, I want to play FFXIV. Should I want to play those, then I will.

In my opinion, it's a cheap way of enticing players into content instead of making the content appealing to begin with. There's already a mount there which has been reskinned 9 times at least.

I want S/E to offer all the popular character costumes from all their franchises as microtransactions. $1-5 a costume? hell yeah. i Only suggested this because more revenue extends the life of the game and i want the game to go atleast 20 years.

Even better a bundle that includes the character's voice, hairstyle, along with all the pieces of the costume, and a free visit to the barber (ok the voice is alittle overboard)

Of course rules must be added to keep this fair (or unfair, i dont care let me give you more money S/E).

Yeah, no. If you want to do that you can go buy stupid amounts of game time, soundtracks, or the million other things they have for sale.

What about Clouds motorbike as a mount? I could totally see myself doing some donuts in Central Shroud in that thing. Maybe even get me some spinners. Totally do a wheelie on a lala stupid face.

Nice idea but wouldn't work out. A) 2 of 3 sets are male only. B) all would switch to Twin Adders to get that set.

If they added this I would make sure I never did Frontlines, just so it couldn't plague my inventory, there are more games than FFVII so why only have FFVII based rewards except for fanboys.

I am not really that favouring FF7, i am just doing research to see what type of reward would give people a motivation to PvP. My goal is to increase English PvP population and put a stop on people hoarding to Maleatorm. I will see how this one turns out and try for different approach later.
