Grand Company Anonymity and Random Spawns in Frontline

I've seen some of the replies from the producers for random spawn points for frontline and they always pretty much say the same thing, the starting points are the same and they worked hard to make everything seem fair in terms of item lvl starting points etc. and don't plan on changing anything anytime soon. In terms of game play it is pretty fair, but if your part of one of those data servers that have your grand company the one that's always targeted and spawn camped by both others simultaneously than its not really fair because it sticks into their strategy and doesn't change.

On my data server it's pretty much the strategy for flames and adders at the beginning of the match to send their B group (Helio Team) towards maelstrom flags, Which would be fine if they ran up to helio afterwards but they don't both company's helio teams than proceed to the storm outpost and fight over it in a effort to stop maelstroms helio team from reaching the nodes they both fight each for about half the game on our outpost and maelstrom gets spawned camped. I don't think they're doing it just to be mean i just think they both use the same strat's rendering maelstrom pretty much useless.

I'm pretty sure this is happening on other data servers as well and not just maelstrom is on the bad end. So I was thinking if there was a way to fix it either it being an issue where both companies dislike the third company or both company's just think that's its easier to go for those flags. Even though I know it defeats the purpose but grand company anonymity and random starting points may fix some of the problems with the first 5-7 minutes of a match seeing as you don't know which company is which until you encounter them.

By anonymity i don't mean not being able to distinguish from name color but more so the outposts serpent op etc should have name changes and stay at permanent spots and have grand company's randomly switch spawns. I know this doesn't happen all the time but it happens enough to make frontline seem unfair not from a game play point but from a community one. If you had any experiences like this or ideas on ways to fix it please post and share :)

most games just puts npcs at the home bases that gang up on any opposing faction that comes too near. not only do they protect the base but also leaves players who get cut off from the team for whatever reason and are getting ganked to run/kite to a "safe zone". honestly i have no problem with the spawn camping because it happens once in a blue moon and is bad for the team thats doing it anyway because while they're camping, their flags are getting ninjad.

I don't know if this happens with any premades, but as a Flame on your data center, I can tell you that this is not something that is happening. We are not singling out Maelstrom. B team merely adapts to the situation. Often that means going towards Adders and not Maelstrom at the start.

I've seen this happen a lot. Huge groups of both blue and yellow opponents all fighting against the Maelstrom party. Coincidence? Not sure.

naw its just some idiot that yells out camp their spawn and people do it. its not a typical agreed strat. i've seen this happen once since i've been on flames, and once i saw in chat some idiot yelled it, i was like naw don't do that, grab flags; i combat that crap in a heartbeat because its stupid and a great way to lose, which we did because idiots followed bad instructions and lost focus.

I would like to see the addition of random enemy spawns in FL. Make them difficult to kill solo and encourage players to go out looking for them. That way B team isn't just for Mid and Outpost.

We have all this room in the Flats and it would be nice to see some action going on outside of the flag areas in my opinion.

Who said they should give straight points? Why not stat boosts to the GC that takes them down? I would also like seeing trebuchets and other siege weapons scattered around the map. There was an old concept image of siege weapons in front of a large fortress. Would be nice to get a new map or game mode.

I never said points either. It's still using PvE to (now you're saying) give a statistical edge over other players? Again, no.

Ah well, just my opinion. I would like to see more additions to FL. Stagnation is the enemy and the way FL is now won't be the same way it is after the first expansion. May as well add new match mechanics while they are at it.
