Hi all,
Just got out of an AK run where I was kicked because the other 3 people in the party were from a premade party.
From the start of the run, all 3 were trying to speed run (when there honestly is no point to imo) and I asked why they were pulling so much.
The whm continues to ask for "MOOORREE" and so the tank pulls 4 groups worth of mobs and we wipe.
I ask again, "why speedrun?", the whm replies "why not?".
I reply, "because of that". WHM replies "MUHAHAH"
and continues to tell ME how bad I am, because I choose not to speed run.
At this point, I was fed up and decided to vote kick the whm for harassment. I didn't feel I did anything wrong and it was appropriate.
They immediately knew it was me and told me that I was the odd man out. Few seconds later my vote kick was declined and I was dismissed from the instance.
I have screenshot of names and the entire conversation. I have been able to pinpoint their server to Diablos and I would really like this looked into. This was total BS and I did nothing wrong, and I was kicked - when all I was trying to do is AK for my Animus.

Few things to note:
I have been doing AK since it was the cool thing to do - when all we did was AK and WP to cap our weekly points. AK has been butchered so much since then and there really is no need to speed run. Also, our gear was overkill for AK.
The vote kick system was abused because they didn't like the fact that I voted one of their friends. This abuse of the vote kick feature is reportable, and is why this post is here.

I'd just like to encourage you to brush this off and move on. What they did was crappy sure, but grounds to go on a witch hunt? probably not. Will SE actually do anything to them over it? probably not. You're going to encounter people like this in MMOs rather often. Shake it off and requeue :P

I have dealt with so much worse on multiple occasions. If that was the worst I ever had to deal with I'd be a happy camper and certainly wouldn't take to the forums over it. Also, the animus/novus grind has nothing to do with player conduct. Yes, abusing the kick feature is reportable but do you honestly think those 3 players are going to get banned from the game over it? I'd be very surprised if they even got a warning tbh. They could easily put their own spin on the situation in self defense. I do agree that the community seems to be becoming increasingly toxic but that's just part of MMOs...Just like IRL you find jerks and you find nice people... You said you hate this game. Sounds like maybe you could use a break.

What you need is timestamps of what they said and copy/paste it in the report, give their names as well, zone and you're done. If anything you can go one step further to prove what you say is true. Take their three names, put them into lodestone, see which are the three that show up in the same server, in the report say they were from that server and move on. Reporting, at least for me, takes about 1-2 minutes and its done with. Just tell them what timezone you're in with your timestamps and you're good to go. The effort it takes to do something so simple is nothing. Now people who are slower at typing and having multiple things up at once prolly will take longer but I have done the same, ask the GM if I was in the right in reporting. He said that this is a reportable offense and he'll follow through if I want to. Peoples 20 minutes of trolling will cost them more in the long run since it takes me 2 minutes to do it and move on.

On the topic of speedruns.....
had tamtara recently, me and another blm were triple flaring through, it wasn't a slow run. Whm says "im gonna dps coz the dps is low" and then demands that we wait after every pull so his mp can slowly restore.

@OP while I do think it sounds like the system was abused to kick you out, if you tried to vote out the WHM for saying 'Muhaha' and considered that to be harassment, then I feel the system was bound to be abused one way or another on that run.
