There is already a thread on this but having a Dev scroll through 30 pages of it will be a pain. Bayohne please pass this along to Yoshida if you will! <3

Q: Can you confirm 5th chest in 1.18 or is it a massive troll? :p

I'm nearly out of ideas myself, only 1 more thing to test tbh, but perhaps theres a bug in the instance that isn't popping the last chest or something....or maybe its so obvious that everyone's overlooking it by thinking about the most insane and absurd things to do to get it to pop lol.

My bet for the 5th chest is you have to kill every mob and grab all 6 chests on the way.

You will need to Parley with Bartraal for 5th chest. After that you will lose your FFXIV account though, since you just traded it to Bartraal for the chest.

We've killed every mob in the dungeon, along with Bat? I feel like people are getting their wires crossed here, given that I was part of our first attempt last night.

I'm not referring to depopping any of the mobs.

clearly you must check those devices in the captain's quarters in a certain order while Batraal has between 10-20% HP remaining.

I'm pretty sure one of your party members must craft a crab bow +3 while Batraal is between 10 and 20 % health.

What if the 5th chest doesn't pop up unless you have a party of all mrd,lnc, and thm? LOL jk, but seriously I'm a lil happy people haven't found it, just makes it seems like its a real piece of content. When someone does have it drop, it will be super rewarding to not just that party, but to the community.
